I feel like this is going to get blown up by the media. If something like this happened in H.S. or college, kids would be in a lot of trouble for hazing. Personally, I played sports my entire life and know that this is all meant in good fun, but some people don't view it that way. We once duct taped a kid to the wall and lots of people got suspended. I hope I am wrong.
This might shed a bad light....endorsement by a coach? Not good... Jane could have left that part out...
I love it, but approval by the coaches for a juvenile prank? ouch, yeah coupled with "staging fights" from Hard Knocks this isn't a great image for the Jets.
they didn't "stage" a fight, they just told Turner to start one up. It's not like it was WWE out there.
I dont see how taping a guy to the goalpost can look any worse for our team than having Tim Tebow walking around looking like a fucking idiot with some absurd haircut
I guess Dungy will have something else to whine about. Whatever, let the guys have some fun out there. The D's doing their job. If a bit of harmless hazing helps them out in some way-- no big deal. They're pro football players, they can take it. Its not like they're taping one of Tannenbaum's assistants to the goal post.
This is a nothing story but shows the respect the vets have for the coaches,....now if they had hogtied Sutton we may have a story!
I'd be surprised if this turned into a big story Doesn't this kind of stuff happen at EVERY mini camp?
it does, but I don't remember when its happened at Jets camp. Since we aren't used to it, we'll make a big deal out of it.
It shouldn't get blown out of proportion. Football is a mans game played by men, if your feeling get hurt, then get your coat. F'n PC Brigade.
What will Fat Mike on the FAN say? OMG Did Scott use foul language when he did it!?!?!??!11 Classless!!
