Ok I don't want to get killed for this thread... but I think it needs to be said. There is hope... if not for this season... then for next.

Today was easily one of the most depressing losses I remember. But completely looking past the fact that the coaching is MISERABLE and that Mangini doesn't have the grain to do what's right and bench Chad, what we saw today was a pretty damn good game by the Jets.

    Honestly.

What kept the Jets from winning today? The passing game. What has kept the Jets from winning all but the Patriots game this year? The passing game.

Our passing game is KILLING us. But it isn't the receivers (well in Baltimore it was...) it is the quarterback. I don't understand a lot of these posts I'm reading around the board that say putting Kellen Clemens in wouldn't make this team better... why the hell wouldn't it?

I have no faith in Mangini to pull the plug and play the best guy... which really sucks because we could've still had a winning season.

I think my glimmer of hope though is knowing that when Clemens does start playing, I think you're going to see this entire team turn around and win most of their games the rest of the way out.

There's no way to know exactly where Clemens is at right now. He clearly outplayed Chad in TC, preseason, and once we opened up the playbook against Baltimore he carved them up. We can all agree there is no way in hell we'd take a step back if Chad was benched. He is holding the offense back.

I've just had enough of dink-dunk noodle arm Pennington!!

i seriously doubt they could win most of the games that kc plays! there are still way too many holes on this team for that statement to be taken seriously....

I doubt Mangini has any thoughts of playing through with Chad. Right now he needs to decide when is the best time to play Kellen. I suspect it'll be after the bye.

Clemens is obviously in Mangini's doghouse and all we can do is speculate as to why. Like I've said a few times, when he got demoted to third string in the middle of last year it was a sign that there is something wrong with him. You can only guess what it is.
