3 way trade going down?! Maybe so! Ok, now I was browsing over at JI and came across this thread: http://www.jetsinsider.net/forums/showthread.php?t=115575 The poster "bongo59" has reported that he works for one of the teams involved in a 3 way trade, jets included, and it looks like the raiders are too. Apparently, all these people believe him and are awaiting for him to return for news. The thread is now 11 pages long, and the members are starting to get restless. Just thought you guys may want to know about this, just incase this actually is happening and the poster is telling the truth. We'll find out soon enough I guess... Edit: He finally just responded, apparently it is a between the jets and raiders and they are trying to find a third team, either the titans or saints. The raiders badly want leinart and al davis is working like hell to get this done, according to bongo. He also reports that the jets staff is hard at work to get this done and that they will move to #7.

Another poster posted a simplified version. 1. Jets trade #4 and #103 to the Saints for #2. 2. The Raiders trade #7, #38, and #69 to the Jets for #2. 3. Raiders draft Leinart at #2. 4. Saints draft Super Mario at #4. 5. Jets draft Brick at #7. 6. Jets trade Brick to Saints for Super Mario.
I tried to understand all of this, from some guy involved with the Raiders blabbering all over some message board on the internet to the way the trade goes down but I just don't get it and now I'm punching myself in the face. I'm going to get some ice.
dude i still have no idea what the jets get out of this......so they really want mario... they will get a 2nd and a third from the raiders and we will get there 7 and then then the saints get our 4 and 103.... but i dont get why then we would trade with them straight up dbrick for mario.... once i think about it all this trade would be giving us is... jets would get: a 100 percent chance on drafting mario a 2nd round pick (38) and a third round pick its sounds very complicated but i think i summed it up for everyone.. it seems like a very good deal for us we would have 4 picks in the top 38 which is kick ass but i dont see what the saints are getting out of it only the 103 pick?? it really doesnt make any sense... i dunoo anymore!!!

Ok I just got an official confirmation, this is bullshit. However I did get word that we are in talks with Houston for their first and second round picks for the 4th spot. We are gonna draft Bush and Houston is gonna draft Dbrick. Then we are gonna trade Bush and a 2nd to Houston for DBrick.. You heard it here first..

They always do. It pisses me off. Let the teams draft who they want then try and get the best deal possible for your client. Still pissed that the draft was f'd with last year. No way Alex Smith should have been taken #1.
