One of the things I am most looking forward to is Carl Lawson, I really hope he gets a chance to terrorize Danny Dimes for a few plays. Lawson feels like that perfect player that pulls the rug out from under our feet like Mosley did a few years ago. I can't help but anticipate the feeling of someone yanking that rug, and it won't go away until he has double digit sacks. Which I think will be easy for him with this line. I want to see Hamsah flying around, and hopefully not injuring himself. He's kind of a wildcard, I'm not really sure what else to expect from him, but he's an exciting dude to watch. Also looking forward to the offense in general. Some semblance of competence in the scripted plays they'll be running.
The moment Zach hits Moore for a big TD I'm going to start getting hyped. Also, I think Zack should play at least a full quarter this game. Get him the experience and let him learn while we can.
With the preseason down to 3 games would the 2nd game become the game where starters play a full half? I am pumped to get this thing going. My daughter’s birthday is Saturday so I will get a 2fer with her party and the Jets opening up the preseason. PS Not letting my daughters root for the Jets until they are old enough to make that decision on their own. That said she will be turning the same age I was when I chose them. Amazing how fast time goes.
As intense as the Jet practices sound I am really curious to see where the Jets are compared to the Giants. Is the Jets defense really that dominant or is our offense and OL just far behind. It is only pre-season but it would be nice to see some measure of where we are. Then the next week we have 2 joint practices against the Packers which might be more exciting than the pre-season game.
Anyone have any idea how out of towners can watch Saturday without game pass? Hate to drop 100 bucks for 2 games that aren't nationally televised.
