I think LT, TO, Kurt Warner are the HOF players on this list. Coryell should also go in. The rest of the list arent HOFs in my opinion.
T.O., Warner, LT and Faneca should be locks. Faneca was a 6x first team All-Pro, he should definitely be in. I think Mawae will get in eventually as an 8x Pro-Bowler and 2x first team All-Pro. Of the remaining players, I only see Ty Law, Isaac Bruce, Jason Taylor and Coryell getting in. Don't know much about Joe Jacoby or Tony Boselli. Brian Dawkins is probably a fringe HOFer, and I don't see any reason to put Lynch in. Tough to put Terrell Davis in on three really good seasons and that's it. Warner has about six and two MVP's/three SB appearances/one victory at the games most important position.
Boselli had hall of fame talent but his career was cut short due to injuries. I don't see how guys like Boselli or Terrel Davis get in given how short their careers were. If they get in Kenny Easley deserves to be in as well. Joe Jacoby should get in one of these days. Tomlinson is a no brainer. Coryell, Warner, Jacoby and Mawae are all HOF'ers imo, and most of them should already be in. A strong case could be made for Morten Andersen, being the NFL's leading point scorer all-time, and one of the most reliable K's in league history spanning 25+ seasons. John Lynch, Faneca and Ty Law each have a good case to get in at some point too.. Klecko should absolutely be in as a senior candidate by this point. it's ridiculous that he's still waiting. The guys I'm definitely not feeling: TO does not deserve to be in the Hall, no way. I'm really big on the numbers per era, put TO is a prime example why numbers aren't everything. and Terrell Davis simply did not play long enough imo, and the same can maybe be said regarding Boselli. if you have a short career, really have to stand out to get in.
When given a choice, the 49ers kept TO and cut Jerry Rice loose. TO is one of the top five wide receivers in NFL history. You gotta have TO in the hall.
No way he is a top 5 all time WR.. He was often more of a detriment to his teams than an asset. That's not something you can typically say of a HOF player.
go ahead and google 'team better off without Terrell Owens', and you'll be reminded of a ton of gems, including the Eagles suspending him for the year during his prime, and lots of other locker room implosions resulting in his dismissal. If you want to focus on the team stats, or just get a nice recap of Owen's horrible resume, try this link: http://www.sports-central.org/sports/2016/08/02/terrell_owens_made_his_teams_worse.php I'd rather talk about the other guys than Owens tho.. We largely agree on all our other picks, except i have Jacoby going in before Faneca....he's been waiting a lot longer, and i felt was just a more dominant force on the Oline. One of the first athletic 300 pounders i could remember hitting the league. Faneca has a strong case as well.
