I'm assuming it's because you didn't hit on positional needs that much, even though you got immense value with the picks. But then, I'm not at all certain on their scoring formula.
Haven't messed with it enough yet this year, but in the past it's been about playing and restarting until all the stars align and you get the right guys to drop way farther than they should. Also, in the past, I found the only way to get leaderboards is to trade back for good value and then of course hit on all the picks. That's another reason I like having these threads beyond just for discussion, it also helps function as a cheat sheet so you can look back at everyone else's drafts to see who to take when for all A+.
