stafford will start today just saw it on the nfl network ticker. i guess i will actually have to watch the lions play a little bit later. if only a guy like kerry rhodes cared about the game and his team like this. http://blogs.nfl.com/2009/11/26/stafford-to-start-thursday-vs-packers/
Yeah, I heard both he and Calvin are active today. Don't know how great of an idea it is for Detroit to play their 2 franchise players banged up, but they must be figuring "What the hell, we have a long week coming up for them to heal."
Thanksgiving Day Games Rodgers just completed a 64 yard bomb to Driver to cap off the 1st quarter.....
Kerry Rhodes needs to watch some film on Nick Collins, a real playmaker. I need a Ryan Grant TD here, fantasy points.
What I want to know is why these passes are going to Donald Lee and not Jermichael Finley. Hannah's Storm has a big game this week.
who in their right mind would try to sign with Detroit if they were a legit playmaker? Of course they are all castoffs....
First off it was 68 yards. Nick Collins is a beast pro-bowler  Lee and Finley split time. I wouldn't advise starting either of them because even a LB Spencer Havnor gets redzone targets at TE.
After the completion to James Jones for a first down, Aikman said they were getting better field position for when they punt. Why would he assume a punt when they just converted for a first?
yeah, but you'd think you'd see some guys they drafted or something. Partially due to injuries, their defense is basically washed up guys cut by several teams.
Forget it. The only way Grant ever scores is if it's 1st and Goal from inside the 5. Otherwise, this team lives and dies on the arm of Rodgers...and does both quite frequently.
made no sense for Stafford to take off and run on the previous play. You can't run up the middle in that situation. Anyway, I'm surprised I've never heard trivia about the player to play in the most Thanksgiving games. I was thinking today that it would have to be Jason Hanson. About the cast-offs on the Detroit D: aside from their own draft picks, every team gets free agents if they pay enough. Detroit is not a very desirable destination right now, but agents and players are mostly looking for cash. I guess the Lions didn't feel that their defense was worth investing in right now. They were lucky to only allow 13 points in the first half.
No one worth his salt was coming here after 0-16. Lot of guys said they'd visit, but signed before ever flying in. They would have had to massively overpay.
