When the Jets walked off the field in Pittsburgh after losing the championship game I would have never believed you if you told me we would be sitting here in 2024 and still have not played a playoff game since and are now likely heading for another year of no playoffs. This league has had so much parity over the last decade, EVERY team broke their playoff droughts, especially when the league added the extra wildcard spot, every miserable team has made it except for one team; the New York Jets. Its beyond mind boggling that heading into this season with this roster we decided to stick with the coaching staff that had shown NOTHING. This IMO is the best roster since the 2010 Jets. It made zero sense to gamble this season with Saleh. Mike Vrabel was sitting there. Pete Carroll was sitting there. Hell Rex Ryan was sitting there. This WAS NOT the time to test the waters with Saleh finally getting a shot with a quarterback. If this had been addressed like it should have been we would be sitting at 4-2 or 5-1 right now. Instead we are at 2-4 and the chances we make the playoffs are slim. Just complete insanity we threw this season away so this organization could prove Saleh and this staff were capable......when we all knew they were absolutely not.
9th straight season with a 3 game losing streak, longest active in the nfl, think it’s safe to say that the jets are hitting milestones at a record pace, idiots told us we are a quarterback away , newflash we are worse with Aaron Rodgers than we were with Zack Wilson, fuck this team

Depending on how much of the future JD is willing to trade away trying to save his job, this could be a rebuild that takes longer than it did to build MetLife Stadium. Such is the life of a Jet Fan.
I think it actually depends on how delusional Woody is at this point. This teams is completely undisciplined and they could trade for Adams and half a new OL and the problems wouldn’t go away.
