Pace or Jenkins...but the midpoint of the season won't come until after this week.

Jenkins.... All you have to do is to look what happened when he couldn't play...

I love Leon but without Jenkins our defense goes from pretty good to fucking atrocious.

I also don't understand why people are saying Pace. Bryan Thomas is playing better

I think they're both playing very well. I also think Pace is the better player, especially against the run.

Jenkins no question, it's like our Run D improved overnight mostly becuase of him. I'm kind of upset that we got rid of Vilma since he might have had some more success in the 3-4 now that we finally have a punisher at NT. Honorable mention goes to Washington (who pretty much beat KC by himself last weekend) and Revis (finally we have our shutdown corner).

Without Favre the Jets would be staring down a terrible 1-6 record. The only win would have been vs the Bengals.

Wow Jenkins in a runaway..... he's an absolute stud. It was clear how valuable he was to the D in the Chargers game. Having him in their also makes, Ellis, Pace and Thomas better players and allows them to do more on the rush.

My 2nd choice would have been Coles. Suprised he only got 1 vote. I think his personality makes it tough for people to like him but I think without him we have an atrocious passing offense.

wow i really didnt expect so many people to agree with me and choose jenkins. it was between him and revis for me at this point but jenkins has been more consistent so far.

Coles? He is having his worst year as a Jet and the passing offense has been atrocious with him. This is coming from a big Coles supporter.

I agree with you about Jenkins though, he is the clear choice in this poll.

Shaun Ellis should be on this list. He's not my choice, but he is clearly in the Top-5.

you're right he should be, my bad. I think he's tied for 6th or 7th in the league in sacks or something like that. He's having a great season.

Probably the most underappreciated Jet player in a generation or so.

The whole team deserves MVP. It's a formidable task to defeat the foe from within; Jets did that three times this season, from my count. (almost did it twice more - but almost doesn't quite count so...)

He is playing really well but I think one of the main reasons for that is the man lining up next to him.
