This is a little off topic, but why doesn't TJ do interviews on the WFAN anymore? Maybe he still does, but I only get the WFAN stuff they post to iTunes. I used LOOOOOOVE the TJ morning interview where you could tell he was sitting on the edge of the bed and just woke up from a long night of running up the middle. And more than that, I loved the way he would stand up to that jerk Carton. Why can't Rhodes do that?
Who added receiving yards? Oh wait, you! Also, in the Jets offense, HAVE YOU SEEN THE JETS OFFENSE?, Jones' numbers are very impressive. He should have much more yards, the Jets don't use him right. Thats the point.
i would imagine he doesn't do interviews on the fan anymore because they were complete asses to him all last year. they would introduce him by saying something like "and now joining us jets running back thomas jones who still has not rushed for a touchdown this year." he took it well while on the air but i would be pissed if i was giving up my time to go on a show and the hosts would go out of their way to bash me. a little respect for him being a guest on the show would have been nice.
F**K CARTON. I would not do his show either. F**K Boomer for doing a show with him. F**K WFAN for giving him a job.
Maybe we should consider all aspects of their game. There's a lot of RB's that are used in a more Westbrook type way, where a huge percentage of their yards come from short passes.
TJ is having a good season, beyond that LW is averaging almost 6 yards a carry and Brad Smith is at like 12 yards a carry....Why the hell don't we get them more involved???? All of them can get it done, and Brett hasn't been.
Brad Smith only does reverses and trick plays. you can't just keep doing them expecting to get 12 yards every time
The point is, Jones has more rushing yards that Lynch and less attempts, plus he doesn't get the ball near enough, plus he is on the same team as Brett Favre (Who loves to throw it).
Come on ND you really think if McGahee was on the Bills this year he would sniff 100 yards running against this D, with Jenkins and Pace? (I would say Harris too but he is injured) With Robertson and Vilma in the middle some old lady with a walker and an oxygen mask could get 5 yards everytime.
Guys, Thomas Jones is in "Bell in Hand" tonight, a bar in Fanueil Hall in Boston. I'd go, but I'd probably just try to injure him badly so Leon/that new guy gets more playing time. But hey, if a Jets fan in the Boston area wants to do the franchise a favor, I, and 98% of Jets fans, will forever be indebted to your Patriotic actions.
Uh... if Thomas Jones or Leon Washington got injured we'd have a giant hole at RB and our running game would massively suffer. Leon is good, but I still don't think that he could be an effective starting RB, I think he's way better as a change of pace guy.
