ok. im new to this forum an joined because i want to see what repsonses i would get from my opinion. everywhere i go and read i see scenarios for our jets using the 4th overall pick on either fergie; super mario, or one of the 3 top QBs. but what im wondering is what about reggie bush. the draft is deep in OL and we just signed a DE in kimo who has a ring. i understand that chad is not dependable but i for one am i bollinger fan so if chad buckles i would support throwing brooks in there. he really caught some momentum towards the end of last season. but all in all i think for the 22 million we lost in two years to chad, WE need to see him redeem himself with a shot in 2006. so this leads to my opinion. Reggie bush may be the greatest back to ever come out of college. who better than him to take the pressure off of chad's rusty shoulder? for the football junkies we know that the running game opens the passing game. perfect example...broncos, by far the best running system in the past recent years. jake plummer a virtual no-body in arizona. traded to denver. all of a sudden hes a pro-bowler. with the texans hosting super mario today (and being impressed by a hometown stud Vince young to bring marketing value to houston) and the saints in the market for a OL and titans for a QB. why not talk up the possibilites of Bush in green and white. i Love martin, by far the greatest back to ever occupy our backfield, but coming off knee surgery and over the hill in age for RB's, hes more valid to be a backup as his carreer comes to an end. thats my opinon.

respectable and very possible. but if so, why not encourage a trade to the number 1 spot with houston?

In regards to Bush, he should impeached, his assets should be seized, he should be tried criminally and he should be jailed for the rest of his natrual life.

But if your talking about Reggie Bush the cost to trade up for him would be just to high. We don't need to do a Ditkta and trade our entire draft for one player. I would argue it would be more responsible to build the OL and fill in holes at OLB, add depth at CB and WR and worry about RB next year.

How about trading down and picking D Williams? and we still get to keep our 29th and 35th and gain another pick

As far as bush goes a like it when there is a little bit there but will trimmed. I'm not into the whole bald thing or the 1970s porn star look and there is no way in hell that Bush makes it to #4 or us trading up to #1 to get him.

Yeah...I'm cool with that...I was just saying..why spend so much on Bush when we could go D Williams for a lot cheaper.

D'Brick, Mangold, Watson would shore us up nicely
