I thought the Jets were ranked 18th last week...no? Still an improvement.

when we hit #12 I'll call the league and tell them to end the season right then, then I'll call all 32 teams and convince them that the top 12 teams in the NBC poll should make the playoffs, regardless of the win-loss records and THEN that ranking will be worth something.

Prisco's power rankings on CBS Sportsline has the Jets at #8 (Yes that's right....in the Top Ten !)

I'd like to actually beat a good team with a winning record before we begin to rank anywhere in the top 10.

    Umm,

The Cardinals are 4-2 and that is with a schedule that has seen them play Washington, Buffalo, Dallas, and the Jets.

The Cardinals are a good team.

15 is kind of uncharitable at the moment in my opinion. I think I'd put us more like 12.

I'd say between 10-13 is reasonable, given how we have performed.

Come on Cakes. You mean to tell me that after we crushed that team, you thought they were in the upper echelon of the NFL?

    You know what I meant.

No, I don't know what you meant. I wasn't being sarcastic or cute above.

The Cardinals have proven thus far to be a good team and the Jets smashed them.

Cakes - In response - We got our asses handed to us against the Chargers.

    That is a good team.

Now my hope is that we CAN beat the Bills, Titans and Pats.

The Cards are on a tightrope. They can fall one way or another depending on which way the wind blows. I know they beat the Bills and 'Boys the last two weeks. Credit to 'em but I feel they are not an upper echelon NFL team.

Funny, I feel that the Cardinals are closer to being that upper echelon team than the Chargers are. Don't go on past years, go on this year. The Chargers are far from an upper echelon team with that D. Meanwhile, the Cards have an up and coming D.
