This guy's presence on the fiel is unreal. He never dwells on a bad play...he just keep moving forward. He is a leader, has an amazing arm, and instantly has the respect of everybody on the field the second that he walks out there.

On a side note, I'm being Brett Favre for Halloween lol

He has changed the culture for the whole organization... I hope that it lingers when he is gone.

I'm glad most of you guys don't criticize him too much for the INTs, whether they're his fault or not.

When he was much younger it was great to see how he'd respond when he made a bad play. He exuded so much confidence. Lots of times he'd throw a pick or get sacked and end up confronting the defender face to face. Not so much in recent years though. I only caught highlights of today's game as I had to work. Those 2 INTs were bad throws. Brett needs to improve his decision making a bit because the Jets would have lost due to those picks had this been a good team they were playing today.

I used to be a WR for high school (might play college too) and if I were in the same positions as the receivers on those two plays I would've tried to make a play on the ball. On the first one, I would've probably given up on catching it so I would just bat it down. The second.. well I probably would've done the same thing as Cotchery: go for the catch. That was just bad luck that it popped straight in the air when he wasn't able to haul it in.

No doubt they would have lost to a good team today so it is good he picked a day like today to have the game he had just as it was good he decided to throw 6 TDs against Arizona as we would have lost that one too if he didn't. He seems to play to whatever level is needed.

He just loves the game more than anyone else in the league, that makes him what he is.

He has? how so? you guys act like he took over the '96 Jets. We have had many good teams the last 10-11 years, we have been winners, we have had many playoff seasons. The cultue has changed from last year to this year b/c we have a good TEAM around him unlike last year for our QBs. I like favre and we are adjusting well but let's not get crazy in the praise for him as he pretty mcuh single handedly kept Cincy in that game yesterday.

Reading the interviews from players, I'd say he's done a lot since coming here 2 months ago.

Its not just the team doing well because of 22 good starters, its beyond that... the locker room is different, the coaches feel his presence, the FO - he's doing more than you think.

Favre's impact is undeniable. Even on a day like yesterday, where he absolutely did not have his best game, the level of confidence he brings to the offense (and I believe the D feeds off of it) is unbelievable.

That first TD drive was a perfect example of what Favre brings to the team. The Jets, since 1998, and for a long time before then, have been the kind of team that, when one thing went wrong, it tended to snowball.

TD called back? Next play's a sack, and the next is a pick.

Not anymore. Now, the TD got called back, and they came back and took another shot at it. Called back again? Take another shot at it, and don't stop throwing at the EZ until you punch it in.

Every Jet team we've seen in the last 6 or 7 years would have ended up with a FG, or nothing, in that situation. This is a different team, and it's quite obvious where that comes from.

Our CS and game-planning have finally capitulated and let Favre be more like Favre. I think we need even more of that. He's a gunslinger. Let him sling the ball.

You have to call a play prior to the snap, but the success of every play is only as good as the chances that develope as the play unfolds. A really great QB knows when to throw the playbook out the window and improvise, and Favre is definitely that kind of QB. So go with it! Don't fight it and hamstring the guy!

Looks like Mangini is finally realizing that's the key to success with Favre at QB. It's not always that way, but it is with this guy.

With a fumble? It happens. The picks were of no consequence. Our D was shredding them, so if you want to go deep and get picked.....no biggie.

Herm might have ran a draw play or 5, and I know how much you like that play. Oddly enough they used it yesterday several times.....correctly.

Amazing when the draw play actually works, because defenses are respecting your passing game...
