The really big positive I saw today was our kicking game. Feely was hitting long field goals (granted there was no wind, but he was still surprisingly good) and our new punter appears to be the real deal.

Yeah...Feely was on the money today and he was great last year...I still dont trust the dude because he's an ex Dolhpin, lol, sorry.

And yeah...I was like...Who is that guy? Where did we get this punter from?

I was work all day today and I had to watch the little jets helmet move up and down the screen so that was a little bit of a bummer, But I think I like the way this team continues to fight and never give up. We really could go places if it all does click and come together.

We have seen flashes of an amazing Offense and a shutdown Defense. if they both click and become more consistent, we may win a playoff game or two

First of all, HIGH FIVES ALL AROUND!! 3-2 BABY!!

    RUNNING THE TABLE BABY!!

    JETS DOMINATE BENGALS!

The score makes it appear closer than it was.

What a performance by the front 7!

Still have some problems with the CS--will elaborate elsewhere.

WAY TO GO JETS FANS! THIS IS A SEASON FOR THE AGES!

As long as we continue to win everything is fine. But as we all know the team still needs to continue improving in all phases of the game. Should run the table the next two weeks setting up a big division game with Buffalo.

I know that with J Russell completing 35% of his passes this week against a Saints defense means that the Jets can stack up against the run and rape the Raiders.

The positive is that we dominated a team we were better than. If we don't turn it over 3 times, one which they took to the house, and the other two INT's that were near their goalline, the score could easily have been 37-7. If you read the game thread, you would think we were down by 20, rather, we were winning just about the whole game and completely owned them.

We just have to get used to the Favre effect -- mistakes sometimes equal tds.

Today we survived three (3) turnovers, one that went for a touchdown on the first series of the game.

THis to me means that our defense is playing pretty good. Also, that our offense was put in a pretty good position to do well -- most of the time we were like the Pats against us, starting on the other team's 40 yard line and going in.

Agree with that. I was keep my fingers crossed that Miami would drop that one and had little doubt that SD would come out hard against the pats. The ACF east is wide open.

That said I have to give props to the Phins. I didn;t give them a chance to be doing as well as they are this year. Good job at turning around a stinker of a roster quickly.

yesterday was the first time that i never really felt nervous about the jets winning. even after the fumble for a td to start the game i was feeling good that the offense would score enough to make up for it. even though the bengals were in reach for the entire game i never felt any anxiety abo.ut it. this is probably because the defense pretty much shut them down all game. of course they had to give up the cheap td right before halftime but other than that, a very nice performance by the d

I figured Parcells would make them competitive if not good right away. Even if you beat them it's probably going to be tough to do. We lucked out getting the game down there out of the way in Week 1 and surviving it.

Yes we did, but they also got thier shot against us at our weakest with Favre having only a few weeks to get the offense under his belt. Thier running game vs our Run D should be a hell of a match up.

The rematch in NY should be a very good game.

thought i should bump this thread.i fell like it applies again.i saw a team that can play with anybody if they can just avoid the turnovers and defend the short passes over the middle.at 4-3 we've gotthe division in sight
