if the pats and bills are interested...I think that our primary interest is in keeping the trade price tag high.
This would be a great pick up. And not to be too drab about the situation, but next season we could be looking for a new QB, RB, DE, LB, DB......... this is the Jets shot (assuming Favre stays healthy). If you can add a talent like Gonzalez and take this offense to a deadly level, then you have to do it. THIS IS THE JETS SHOT RIGHT HERE AND NOW, SCREW BAKER/KELLER/FANKS!!!!
From need and offensive scheme and personnel standpoints, the Eagles and Bills seem to be good fits for Gonzalez. (I don't know about the salary cap ramifications and I don't care about the writer's opinion, so keep that in mind.)

We would have a dominating offense with a pick up of TG. My point, I think a player like this added to the Jets would make our team elite and a true superbowl contender. I think it would be great if the FO pulled this off. This year is the Jets shot, Brady is out, Merriman is out, Manning is coming back from an injury. THIS COULD BE A MAGICAL YEAR!!!!:up:
