I think the best thing the raiders and there fans could do as a franchise is poison al Davis at this point things cant get any worse than they are now
Actually, I think that the NFL WANTS Al to run the Raiders into the ground. That way, when he dies, the team can be sold off to the highest bidder who will move the team to Los Angeles. As long as the team stinks, there won't be too much griping from the people in Oakland about the move. Besides, don't you think that there are a few NFL insiders that are taking a perverse pleasure in watching the Raiders go down in flames after all the B.S. that Al Davis had put the league through many years back?
I think that if Davis' actions cause a reduction in the intergrity of the game, there will be sanctions. I think he's on the edge now and only because he's been a big part of the NFL for so long is he given this long leash. I think other owners are pleased he is harming himself, but none want the perception of professionalism in the league diminished. Literally, I think he may have a brain disorder. Perhaps the league will require that he get an MRI and then publicize the findings to attribute his lunacy to a medical condition.
