I had no idea that KC tried to trade for Brady Quinn this week. Were you guys aware of this? They got turned down, as I think that Quinn will see himself starting in Cleveland soon anyway
Cleveland will regret the day they didnt just franchise Anderson or seek into trading him because I KNEW he was a one year wonder. Granted I am a Irish fan so I will be behind Quinn all the way but I really like Quinn so much that he's my favorite QB prospect since Eli Manning out of college. Quinn is the QB I hope we can somehow get once Favre retires. Cleveland SHOULD start Quinn soon enough, with or without that dumb contract Anderson got. Outside of his long ball which can certainly use a bit more polish, Brady Quinn is very similar to Carson Palmer in my eyes and with the weapons Cleveland at least poses Quinn can be a weapon in that offense.
I would be surprised if Quinn turns out to be a decent QB in the NFL--I wish him luck but I don't think he's the answer to KC or Clev problems. BTW, I've lost on Cleveland 3 weeks in a row--I expected Crennel to have that team ready for this year--very disappointing season for them.
I just picked up Quinn as a backup in Fantasy. So I am pulling for him, another week or two and he will start to try to save the Browns season.
If I had to guess: "That's alright, we didn't get him. I know we didn't get him now, you don't have to tell me that. I have to coach the guys we did get, that's what I have to do. Sometimes you don't get what you want, sometimes you go 0-3, I know that. We're 0-3 right now, nobody has to tell us that, we know that."
KC should start marques hagan. it would be a whole lot more interesting, and he can't be worse than thigpen. really they should start huard as he's clearly the best qb there, but they don't seem to have an interest in winning this year with a vet.
