This is a classic trap game. Mangini better have these guys ready to play. They almost beat the Cowboys in Texas.

    Trap game?

The Jets are a mediocre team that hasn't even put together a winning streak of longer than one. They play well one week and get embarrassed the next. I am not sure they could have a "trap game."

i would have expected Jets at -9 personally. if the Bengals were home, the line would be around Jets -1 or EVEN.

Being the home team generally means a swing of 6 points. If you expect the Jets to be -9, then they would more than likely be -3 if they were away.

Jets got this one. The Bengals got talent on Offense but there Bipolar and there Defense is terrible.

Every game against a bad team is considered a "trap game." This is not a trap game. The Jets have had two weeks to prepare for this game, and they all watched the Dallas-Cincinatti game. Plus, there's no one to look ahead to for the Jets.

A better example would be the Redskins hosting St. Louis. The Skins coming off two huge road wins coming home to face the seemingly hapless Rams off a bye week with a new coach. It would be more of a trap game if they played a real team next week (which Cleveland isn't yet), but this is an interesting one to watch.

I don't get how this is a "trap" game...

Yeah like we're looking ahead to vaunted Oakland, come on...

The Jets have had 2 weeks to prepare for Cincinnati.

Sorry i was unclear. i thought that Jets -6 was a little low and should be around Jets -9. i thought this because at Jets -6, Cincy and NY would be EVEN in Cinninatti. i believe the Jets should be a 3 point favorite on the road, and thus 9 point favorite at home

I suppose you have not read a post by the Raider Retard? I will have you know that the Raiders field a roster of no less than 22 HOF'ers. You can not get more vaunted than that! The Jets have no chance that game...... book it.

    Haha fine...

But that isn't a game you're looking at! This isn't New England, or Indianapolis...Where you can see a team looking past them.

This isn't a trap game AT ALL. If the Jets lose, it's because they were outplayed or stupid, not because they were looking at Oakland.

Yeah, but you also have to consider that the -3 is also a +3 for the away team. So look at it this way: on a neutral field, Jets are a -3 because they get the home field taken away. At Cinci, it's even because Cinci gets another 3 points for being the home team.

After watching the Bungles play, Palmer was horrible, but still made plays, and their D is erratic to say the least........remind you of anyone
This game is going to be won by 2 things here, who runs the ball better and who doesn't turn the ball over. Both Ds will have a field day.
Sorry to say it, but I think the Beangals take this one easily.
