No. Raymond was cut from the Practice Squad. Graham was released and Montgomery was signed. Montgomery has played to many games to be on the practice squad.

My guess would be Montgomery. They cut him once already.

So that means we have an open slot on the practice squad. Maybe they'll release someone eligible for the PS and hope no one picks him up and then put him on the PS.

It's cool to have a board like this and be able to keep up with all this stuff. Actually you guys keep up with it and I get to read it. It wasn't too long ago I'd be at the game going "who is #46 that made that tackle on the kickoff?"

In theory they could leave Raymond on the PS until the other player cleared waivers.

I would say Feely if Nugent is healthy. Makes the most sense.

That's why I like the training camp reports on here.

Nugent I am not a big fan of, but yeah, this makes the most sense.

Otherwise I would not mind if they cut Drew Coleman, although I know that ain't happening.

Not sure who should be cut, but still have horrible memories of Carroll at Green Bay, a holding, interfering, penalty causing, couldn't cover anyone, machine then. Bad locker room guy, too.

But then, maybe he is reformed. Just hope they don't let him play in the backfield.

Yeah, no one ever wants to see him on the field as a DB. He's good on ST though.

If Eric Smith wasnt suspended a game, with Poteat coming back I would've cut Coleman. 9 times out of 10 the only time you see him on the field is for getting burnt or missing a tackle. But if Montgomery isn't going to be active and he wasnt picked up after cutting him last week I think it'd be safe to cut him for a week and then maybe dump a DB.

I can't see them bringing Montgomery back for less than a week and then cutting him to make room for a player they knew was coming off suspension. It's not like they're just trying him out, they have seen him before. If I were to get my wish, Coleman would be driving a bread truck next week. We need OL depth more than we need Coleman as the 4th or 5th best STs player and the worst defender on the field.

Obviously you have missed the other 100 or so times someone was trying to be sarcastic towards champ and it simply went way over his head. Nice attempt at trying to defend him though. His senility seems to be rubbing off on people these days.

It's hard to gauge Coleman at times though. Remember, Revis essentially has his side of the field locked down. Lowery is getting tested, but has played pretty well for a rookie. That leaves our nickel back and the other safety to try to exploit. The other teams are just being smart by going after the weakest points in the secondary. It doesn't necessarily mean they suck though.

It will be interesting once Miller comes back too. Will they even attempt to put him out on the field or will he merely be the kick returner and that's it. Or will they put him out there instead of Coleman. In that situation, he would definitely be expendable.

    He's not being sarcastic though.

Champ likes to latch onto one player that he will continually blast til he's blue in the face. Chad's gone, and I don't think even has the balls to criticize Favre. He loves saying how much Brick sucks, but he's been having a solid year so far, so he's backed off. His latest whipping boy has been Gholston. Have you not read any of his posts before?

Maybe one of the QBs (Ainge) will go to the PS

I can count the number of times Coleman successfully defended a pass this year on no hands. He's horrible, I've rewatched the first 3 games and most teams, when they have made halftime adjustments, attack Coleman for the rest of the game if they haven't been exposing him already. My girlfriend knows nothing about the Jets roster but she knows to flip off the TV screen when she sees #30, because she's seen me do it so many times already this season.

Lowery is definitely being tested, and he's had mixed results against a spectrum of talent, Coleman has been exposed as a guy that just can't be depended on at all. He sucks. Watch the games very closely and you won't argue it.

Vilma, too. Whoever we take with the #1 pick, champ goes on a crusade to convince everyone it was a bad pick and the guy is a total washout. Part of his overall theme that we don't draft "game changers", except he never tells us who those "game changers" are until years afterwards, when it's obvious to the whole world who they were.

Oh, I'm not arguing it really. It's why Poteat was brought back. I can definitely see Coleman being the odd man out since Carroll is so good on special teams and Miller is set to come back soon.

I just wonder if it's really that he completely sucks, or if having half of the field completely locked down and there being nowhere else to throw it has anything to do with it.

Poteat has shown he's dependable and can make some plays here and there. Mangini seems like he loves the guy since he keeps bringing him back and Poteat is willing to come back every time, so there's obviously some loyalty there.

If Coleman gets cut I wouldn't be surprised at all.
