I guess No News is Good News...................if your following P. Ben Graham.

After being cut there were multiple threads about him.

Then after his re-signing there were multiple threads about him.

After last weeks game almost no news at all.

    After todays game........Nothing at all.

    So I guess he's Punting OK........

I know you Blokes dont have much regard for the Punter/Holder but us Aussies do.

    GO :jets:

You're right, we don't want to hear news about the kickers because it means they're doing good. Kickers aren't football players, but for some reason the NFL requires them.

Hats off to Graham for rebounding nicely.

We mentioned him in the Game thread last week and gave him kudos for having a decent game on short notice.

With all the scoring today, the punter was a non factor though...But when he did, he was solid...again.
    48yd avg. and a 43yd net.

Geez after this game I would have thought we could wait till the actual bye week to see a thread about the Punter. Silly me.

Since there was so much punting going on today....

Graham's problem is he's been terribly inconsistent. Maybe he's playing better with Hodges breathing down his neck. I can't think of any other reason why we'd keep 2 punters on the roster.. unless Hodges is such a steal that we can't risk losing him. Edit: Just for clarification, that was sarcasm. He's a punter.

He hasn't been any worse than Nuge though. I too was very impressed with that flop.

The games on during the early hours of the morning here in Australia.

I just finished reading through the whole Game thread (1376 posts).

I guess there was so much going on during the game that Ben never got a mention.

It was a GREAT game though & the ups and Downs of the game made good reading.

I was shocked to see him back for the Jets. But he had two nice punts.

When your punter is the main reason you lose to your division rival, then it's worth talking about.

I watched the game last night and had to replay that one about 3 or 4 times. The fall was something you'd see in an NHL arena, pure brilliance. He fell and then laid there like a fish that's been on deck for too long, and you could almost see his head pivot 5 degrees in each direction as he looked for the zebra stripes and a flag whizzing by in the air.

One of the worst dives and melodrama that I've seen in a long time.

One of the punts was shitty, but he got a bounce. Basically, every other kick by this guy he shanks it. That one was a semi-shank. This will come back to haunt us one day.....like when he's punting from the end zone against the wind on the road.

Jets fans don't dislike him as a person, I don't think. We want him to do well and not have to worry about punting the damn ball.
