what is the point of playing weaker teams when it`s the good teams you have to beat? There is no point in beating weak teams. The schedule is what it is and it has to be played but I want to see the Jets beating the good teams. I wanted to see the Jets beat a high school QB for a divisional victory and a bold statement. Didn`t happen. I want to see the Jets be somewhet competetive on National TV. Once again, didn`t happen. It`s the same old Jets with new faces again. Whats gonna happen when the Jets face the Titans? Broncos? Buffalo x2? Seattle? Damn, even Cincinnati? You can even throw in the Arizona Cardinals now. Thats a potential 7 losses right there on top of the 2 we already have. Do we think NE is gonna suck when it comes time to play them again? What about Miami? Possibly 10 losses this season.
Every game gives the team a chance to get better, correct mistakes, learn something they haven't gotten around to yet... No team stays the same unless they have too many injuries or discover (as we did last year) that they don't have any answer for any other team's line of scrimmage.
guys favre is starting every game this year even if we are 1-14 going into the last week. do you think he is gonna let this team that wanted him so bad end his streak of games played because we aren't having a great year. favre plays until he decides he doesn't want to. thats what he has earned, and the fact that anyone would call to have him benched, after 3 games in a new system no less is disrespecting everything he has done in his career
