...Jet fans expected to lose to Matt Cassell and be blown out against the Chargers, otherwise we might be disappointed at the season so far. But, since we expected to be 1-2, the team must be fine and we should have nothing to worry about going forward from here.

as a football fan, i dont like the sentiment of "oh its ok to be 1-2 because now we get to play easy teamsthat we can beat". That doesn't make a good football team, just a good record. If you can't beat the best teams, why did you go out and spend all that money?

Why did the Jets get Favre again? Wasn't it to win games against good teams?

I'm fully confident the Jets would be 2-2 without him. Favre is looking more like 2005/2006 version right now

I am equally as confident that no QB in the league would be 2-2 with this team right now..

I was never for the trade. I always thought that with the right cast around him Chad could run the table. This trade was for $$ to line some pockets and a gamble that a 38 year old QB could turn into Superman and learn the Jets playbook after being in the same system for 17 years. Give me a break, welcome to reality folks.

The season is not over by a long shot though. I expect the team to get better and better every week and be a totally different team by week 6. This team need to get on the same page and develop a swagger. There has been NONE of that thus far. You want to see what swagger looks like? Watch a re-run of yesterdays Miami/Pats game.
