I may be drunk because my jets are losing but you.......................... ................... .................. .............. are gay
There's absolutely no way Jerry Jones is letting Garrett go. Garrett will be the next Dallas head coach. If they don't win a playoff game this season, Wade Phillips will be fired and Garrett will be named the head coach.
This team is not coached much better than they were when Herm was in town.... Now, I never particularly disliked Edwards, but if people were so happy to kick Edwards when the team was down, I see no reason why the same criticisms can't apply to Mangini....
jesus...it's week 3...and already we're discussing Mangini's replacement....c'mon now. The biggest concern right now should be Kris Jenkins...if he's out for any significant length of time...this defense is fucked....totally fucked.
^^ To be fair, many of us were discussing it during/after last season.... And a good handful of us weren't so quick to dub him Mangenius after 2006... Now that this season's started, obviously I don't want Woody to pull an Al Davis and dismantle the team midseason... But Mangini needs to show a lot more in the next 13 games than he has in the previous 36..
i'm with you on that, Beamen....i think Mangini is in over his head too. But it's too early in the season to push the panic button on him....if this season ends up going to shit....then clean house..... I just hope the FO doesn't pull any triggers during the season.....
Why not? He certainly knows how to not only game plan a D but run it and demand a lot from his players.
He's a modern day Bill Arnsparger. Quality DC, not dynamic enough of a personality to be a successful HC. He'd be clueless on offense. It just wouldn't work out. He's a bit long in the tooth, too.
Yes, of course. The Jets fans are the reason for the Jets losing. Anyway, should the Jets require a change of the guard this offseason, Bill Cowher has to be a no brainer.
I'm not giving up on Mangini yet but if this does happen to be his final year, Singletary would be an awesome hire
