Wow, it just hit me that it's been awhile since the Jets had a decent punter. Maybe not since Tom Tupa?
I told you earlier in the week that he wasn't worth anything...I don't like the move either, but Henry won't contribute at all this year, so it's not a big loss.
He may have sucked with his punting lately but the guy is a professional who was made a team captain at one point, his integrity is beyond reproach. Sheesh.
Is Carrol still around? If so, I'd rather cut him because I don't think Henry clears waivers (I hope I'm wrong). Might screw up our depth but I'd hate to lose a tall young WR because of a kicker fiasco.
In Aussie football, you very rarely see a spiral because they have a high % of being shanked. My Grandma can kick end over end. Welcome back Benny!:jets::rofl:
This will be the 50th start for Graham. I heard that by reaching the 50 game milestone he will now have certain entitlements regarding pensions, free agency etc. Can anyone let me know if this is the case and what the exact benefits are of reaching 50 games? thanks in advance
Because it's the "right" way to punt apparently. if you watch most of his punts last season and all of them this year, they come off the side of the foot, spiral style.
so which do you think is better? I mean tall, for the sideline fades. Smith and Keller are the same height. PS - we need to play our league game online
Syd, I read somewhere that by playing minimum 3 games, entitles him to get his full payment for this year. The NFL has a retirement fund in place to cover this kind of stuff.:drunk::jets:
