Trying to put last week behind us and looking ahead to the San Diego Monday Night game. Everyone will be picking against us after last week, this game could be a huge turning point and has almost turned into a must win. We have managed to take 3 of the last 4 from the Chargers in the LT era with all of them being on the road. 2005 - Charger 31 @ Jets 26 2004 - Jets 34 @ Chargers 28 2004 Wild Card - Jets 20 @ Chargers 17 2002 - Jets 44 @ Chargers 13 Also Brett Favre has never lost to San Diego.
were walking into an open fire going into san diego after they lost both games on the final play. it wont be the end of the world if we lose this game as most of us had the Jets starting 1-2 anyway. but it would sure be nice to win, i know well need to take some shots down the field though. if we play like last week we have no shot. we need 3 or 4 TDs atleast.
this team is going to be pissed down 0-2 and at home on MNF... I can see this game being a 10-17 pt loss.
Yeah those are my thoughts..... The Jets are walking in to a bad situation on Monday night. I'd be more confident if San Diego was 2-0 but I have a feeling this could be ugly. I'm almost having 2nd thoughts on going because lets say Charger fans tend to be a bunch of gang bangers looking to pick fights and I'll have my wife and son with me so I'm thinking of just dumping the tickets. I think the Chargers can win this game by 2 scores.
I think we'll be in this game. I don't see a blow out........maybe Schotty and Mangina start to have a little faith in their QB this game. Seems SD has a little trouble defending the pass. Eliminate the goddam stupid penalties too (although I can see the refs giving the chargers a few sympathy calls). Odds are stacked here, I they'll probably lose, but it's going to be a good game.
9.5 points is a trap game for gamblers. I have no doubt that we will at least cover the spread against San Diego.
If our play this season is indicative of what we'll see in SD, I see us getting dominated 28-10. Let's hope our blind CS can blow the dust off the pages in the playbook entitled "downfield"

You are being too generous with the Jets team. Think about it. Patriots minus the downfield threat still scored 5 times - could have been six, if Belichek didn't decide to run the clock out. Had they had their MVP QB throwing the ball, there could have been at least two more TD passes coming in favor of the Pats. (the one pass Revis deflected from Moss at the last minute would have been a TD with Brady throwing the ball, to say the very least.) If the Jets ST plays like horseshit they are, Phillip Rivers will have short field to work with all day long. That shouldn't bode well for anybody. On top of that, they have LDT running for them. I see something in line with 42-14 or that sort. Charger O will blow out if they get to work with short field all day. Mark my words. On why Jets only score 2 TDs? Ask ManHerm, not Favre.

Fact is this mexican gangs are surrenos and nortenos (southern and northern). The Nortenos where red the Surrenos where blue. Blue happens to be the chargers colors and since the chargers are in the south and have blue uniforms guess which team they flock to? Then consider fans have been stabbed and brutally beaten and riots as seen on espn have broken out and its a monday night game. I wouldn't be surprised if something did happen. Plus its the jets and won't be alot of jets fans there you would be horribly outnumbered just saying but if you do go enjoy the game! Just stay moderately quiet.

I have never had a sweater around my waist in my life. Lol believe it or not guys san diego has alot of ghetto sections and gangs. This is still southern california. Sure you may see parts like la jolla and rancho del ray mission beach and the likes and those parts are about as nice as you can get. But try going to southeast and after you get your pockets ran through you may think a lil bit differently just saying.
...and If SD play holds up on MNF, then we outplay and outscore this team in the final seconds of this game. This will cause mass panic in SD and then all will be right in the world.
Last second losses won't happen all season for the Chargers. We're too god for that. Thing is the Chargers offense got it going in the 4th qtr against the panthers. Not only have we had bad starts to start the season but also the game. We were down 21-3 and 31-17 at HALFTIME. But in both games in the 2nd half our defense came through. Sure we lost both games but only gave up 1 td in both games in the 2nd half. I look for the Chargers to start fast and put up at least 40 points this weekend. But with the way our defense has played we'll probably give up 41 lol.
