What did Pace do wrong? WHAT?

He arrived while Cassell was still throwing the ball. He didn't jump, he didn't lead with his helmet, he didn't throw him down to the ground.

He happened to make contact with Cassell helmet because he came and hit him square? What should he have dove for his legs? He was just coming in to hit a player, incidental contact as a result of an attempted tackle.

Now I understand they got the 1st anyway, but those were 15 big yards the refs handed them.

They said because of face to face contact but its bullshit because if Cassel has still had the ball it just would have been a legit sack.

Earlier in the game Vrabel roughed Favre way worse than that

Funny how the late hit on Favre NEVER got called...Not trying to make excuses if the Jets lose but @ the same time...It's clear to see that the NFL wants the Pats in the playoffs, each and every year

i really can't stand any televised patriot games any longer. this will be my last. they get every nit picky call, yet the other teams never do do. they get away with holding all day long on the offense.. its absolutely a joke.

christ, lose one game and it's the refs fault, the cheats fault, just not the jets fault!!! they beat us fair and square. stop whining!!!

there's a lot of football left to the season. just forget about the hype with favre, this division is going to be a dog fight. buffalo is playing good football right now, better than the jets....

Blaming this loss on the refs is absurd. The Jets made a lot of mistakes. I didn't see any plays that the Pats got away from. Our mistakes and lack of focus is what cost us the game.

I think there are positives from this loss - specifically that our defense only gave up 19 to the Pats while giving them amazing field position. Also, the face that Revis shut down Moss was pretty encouraging as well.

Whats the difference....in the middle of the 3rd quarter, I turned to my son and said "its amazing...no matter who the gm is...no matter who the coach is..this team just makes me want to puke watching them play the game".

It doesnt matter who the qb is...who the dt is...its like this team gives birth to its own. It like on big incest roster. Once you sign with the Jets, you become a conservative piece a shit of a player...coach...gm...its just sickening.

Heh. Gave me a much-needed larf.

It was 6-3 going into the half, and I must have had a deer-in-the-headlights look on my face until we FINALLY scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter!!We have a quarterback who can obviously still throw down the field with the best, and a Patriots secondary that scares NO ONE. Someone's head wasn't somewhere on that sideline!!

The roughing call - I've seen worse. Ask me if I'm surprised that drew a flag.

    Bah!
