that punt deal was ridiculous if i played special teams for the jets i would have taken a 15 yd penalty and mauled the punter till he his knee was twisted around his head
that pats punter is a idiot for the touchback, he should of just kicked a short one that wouldnt go into endzone
Yeah, notice the refs stood on top of the ball while the punt team was charging the field - enough to get the Jets to not have a procedure penalty against them.
its still a cheap play and was clearly intended as a FU move by bellicheat who is obviously pissed his boys arent in the bleachers with a radio telling brady the jets signals
but it's the exact same thing as trying to get different packages on the field and exploit mismatches. i mean i understand what you're saying, but to me it's the same thing, just a little more noticeable when done like that. it worked out for us anyway since apparently their punter didn't get the memo.
That Punt deal was a great move. If anything is Bush its the Jets having to use all their timeouts by then. We look very undisciplined.
it was actually a smart move if you understood what they were trying to accomplish. kicking it into the end zone ruined the play for them. it ended up being a gift for the jets.
