On his rapport with Brett Favre?
It does not have anything to do with my rapport with him. I am trying to pick up some of the offense right now. Of course, some things have changed and we are trying to get a better understanding of what is going on with the wording in the offense.

On why he only had one catch for five yards?
I don?t have a feel for him and he doesn?t have a feel for me. That is one of the things I am going to have to deal with. In the past I?ve always knew when the ball was coming, now you don?t really know. It is totally different for me as a player. It is what it is. He is getting adjusted and I am trying to do what I am supposed to do.

On if there was a concern, since sitting out the preseason, that it might take a little time to get in synch once he got on the field?
It didn?t have anything to do with me not being there. It?s just one of those things whenever you get introduced to a new quarterback you don?t have a feel for each other, period. He is being introduced to a new offense and new players. For me, it?s one of those things where he doesn?t have a feel for me, I don?t have a feel for him. You deal with it.

On if there is a belief that it is a matter of time before he will be on the same page with Favre?
That is something I am not really concerned about. He has a job to do. I have a job to do and from there it is what it is. You work day-in and day-out and just do what you are supposed to do.

On if he can envision big things for himself with the way Favre throws the ball?
You hope for the best, but it?s not about me, it?s about this team. It?s not about him, it?s about this team. It?s not about any individual. Whether you have success with me or have success with Jerricho Cotchery, Chansi Stuckey or whoever it is as long as the team is successful I think things will be alright.

Sounds like he wants to play in Miami.

He's right it is about the team, as long as he catches balls and gains yardage then i don't really care what he says, he didn't do that on Sunday, but he caught one and had that pass interference call go his way which led to T.Jones TD run. The way he says things make him sound like a spoilt child, whether those are his intentions or not who knows, some will say he is being honest we like that etc etc i would rather he just used the generic responces and showed us what he is about on the field.

I noticed that he refers to Brett as him, he, his, etc. instead of referring to him by name. I may be making too much of it, but this is how I act when I'm not too fond of the person I'm talking about at the time.

That being said, I don't think he's really whining. IMO he is still hurt by Chad's release and is slow to warming up to the situation. I also think he has a hard time of truly expressing himself to the media, and this opens up to possible misinterpretation.

He'll be OK after he's had some time to work with Brett. He does come to play the game.

I have always been a HUGE Coles, but after the last two months I will not be sorry to see him go. He can go join his buddy in Miami. He is not a team player and is not even the #1 WR on the team any more.

Haha. I'm not being interviewed though! I can assure you I have no contempt for Coles (him).

I am going to take this with a grain of salt, but it is time for Coles to get on the same page with Brett and not the other way around. Cole better start producing and producing fast. i don't mind the bitching when he puts up big numbers on the field but that has not been the case so far.

Why bother interviewing him anyway? He's just going to whine about somethhing.

If you have Coles on any of your fantasy teams I think it would be a good idea to trade or drop him.

Coles is the exact reason why WR is the most prima donna position in football. Everything bothers him. He takes everything personal. Everything is perceived as a slight.

Shut up and catch the ball. Start earning all the millions that your complaining aren't enough...

Hold your water, and let's see how he does over the next few weeks while they get used to working with each other.

Please note that LC is an extraordinarily effective WR.

did you read his last comment? or are you just done because he isnt the #1 anymore? it annoys me to see people throw away players so quickly because they dont care for what they say.

Souring on Coles really fast. He's a talented receiver but he really needs to get over this whole Pennington thing. That's the bottom line.

He has an opportunity to be a great receiver. Brett can make an avg receiver look good. Instead of catching those weak sauce throws he should just shut up and learn how to catch a ball that's coming faster and farther than his bf Chad could ever throw.

look, coles has been working with the same qb for what? 5 years? if hes still upset that his friend and quarterback who hes been with for that stretch isnt there anymore let him be upset, yes this is the nfl and they are professionals but hes also human. he'll start being productive, hes only played 1 game with favre and none during the pre season. i wouldnt stress about it too much
