We should have traded Coles and Pennington in the offseason. Coles will contribute little this year and we got nothing for Pennington who was never going to start anyway

Ocho got in a fight with his coach at halftime of a playoff game! No need to bring that crap into the locker room.

My guess is that Coles will deliver on the field, where it matters.

Though I agree that he ought to shut up!

He comes back because we guarenteed his money. Biggest mistake Tannenbaum ever made. That makes him untradeable and uncutable.

Do you really laugh that much? If you do you are extremely unstable and I'm being serious. The only other thing is you could be scared to death and that I can understand.

The thing is Favre in general throws to the route and the only logical conclusion is that both QB and receiver have got to know where the ball is going. If there is a change then the players have got to be in sync. If the defender was cheating a look from Favre to Driver was all it took and it will be with these classy receivers as well especially in the 2d half of the season and maybe after the bye week.

Favre can execute anytime during the route and he can cover portions of the field that CP is unable to. I think we beat a quality QB last Sunday and a phins team that will be more like 7-9 or 8-8.

I guess he enjoyed getting those high floaters that took years to come down, catching them than getting nailed in the back by the d. Oh and not to mention the concussions.

If you guys are interested in playing football, LC's comments are very interesting. He is verbalizing what Cotch and co. have a head start on him because of the injury strategy they followed.

There is no question that Chad's reps with the receivers created clear expectations from the same page for everyone. That's the way it's supposed to be.

But Brett has a penchant for ad-libbing (18 years' worth I hear). Fact is, the receivers are going to have to go ask Brett what's up since he doesn't always like to follow what's in the five inch phone book they all tote around every day.

I think these are interesting insights. I don't hear Coles complaining, just stating facts.

But then maybe you guys don't care about how it is to play football with Brett as opposed to how it is to play football with Chad.

Also, there is no question that any quarterback would benefit from the new NYJ's OL and running game.

I have a feeling that Mangini is coming to LC and discussing stuff as much as LC is opening up with both Brett and Mangini (and his position coach as well, by the way).

Mangini has said on more than one occasion that LC was perfect and fully communicative with everybody -- just not the press -- during the training camp.

I believe the whine is in your ears, not in LC's words.

You apparently expect him to groan, whimper, and complain, so of course that's the way he sounds to you.

Not to me, though. I think his description of how the changes are being dealt with is an interesting window into how the team is growing in this new direction.

    My sentiments exactly.

I defended him in almost every other "whine" that people would complain about...

Just this time it's going too far and too drawn out. Enough man.

Coles for Ocho Cinco sounds good to me, as much as I like Coles. Coles and a 5th.
