I was late with the news when I posted it at 3:30 yesterday.
    At 6:43 it was ancient.

If Ferguson is taken at #2, that could POSSIBLY mean that Leinart is still there at 4.

It could also mean we trade down...with Detroit and get Justice.

Yes, as i said earlier the Saints want Ferguson. That leaves us with Williams and who knows they might even move down but i think they cant pass up Williams. You get your off tackle, Linebacker, def tackle with the next few picks.

Your that confident that the Saints will pick Ferguson? Their first pick last year was OL and their D is awful.

shock...or not at all since i mentioned that before (meaning they very well might do that), and since many believed brown was one of the few RT's in college that could play LT in the pro's...

they want williams (and i still think leinart also) if they sit at two, if they trade down they'll want williams (if still around) or hawk

Yes they will because they have to get 3 offensive linemen somewhere to fill there holes. They lost 3 starters from last years o line.

    and that line was great?

bentley still projects to many as a better guard than center, gandy was old and eating up cap space..along with being disgruntled a bit and also having to be paid all his money

they have a hole or two, but it's not the end of the world, they'll probably draft a center in the mid-late rounds, and maybe grab a OG somewhere in the mid rounds

heard sean payton their head coach today on total access today. he said they did this so they can move jammal brown to the left side. so don't count on us not getting brick quite yet.

Doesn't this describe every draft choice in the first round? None have played one down in the NFL, they are all overhyped.

First, I posted it as an alternative to people immediately thinking NO will take Brick, which is not necessarily the case. Second, why is the scenerio I posted any more or less inane, or unlikely, than the hundreds of other madden trades and predictions that have come across this board the past 4 weeks? Third, stranger things have happened in the draft.

seriously, people have no idea what overhyped means. D'Brick is not overhyped. Hes been regarded as the best Tackle available for the past 2 yrs. Its not like he came out of nowhere with one good season. Give the guy his credit.

Now an overhyped player would be:
    Sinorice Moss
    Jay Cutler
    Ashton Youbouty
    Devin Hester

Now look those guys up, see what theyve done is their careers and then compare that to what D'Brick has accomplished. You'll see a huge difference.

We'll get Williams or Leinert. If Williams goes at #3............ if the FO thinks Leinert is the real deal, we ahve a franchise QB. If not, I have to believe someone offers a sweet deal for the pick. Either way, we are sitting pretty.

    Forget Brick at 4.
