Come on you doubters come out from the weeds and admit you were wrong. Of course Thomas couldn't get anything going last year behind a putrid line. He looked slow was the lament. This year the line is good and all of a sudden he looks nimble and strong.

I thought the inside run was open all day because the Dolphins were over pursuing the pass rush all day. Jones was okay today solid numbers but there were plays were there were big gains that a really good back would have gotten and Jones didn't. I thought we should have run the ball a lot more today even though I'm not a fan of Jones it just looked like there was a lot of room between the tackles.
I will admit, I was concerned, but the run game was excellent today. The line needs to work on false starts, but other than that, good job today.
Yeh we had a bunch of stupid penalties on the line, which was odd. Interesting, I thought that Jones ran mostly behind the right side of the line... I also think we need to stop trying to use Leon between the tackles. Lets get him in the flat for a screen so he can use his feet!
Last year...The Jets had Will Montgomery as our starting LG, Clement was our starting RT and Ferguson and Mangold were both only 2nd year players, still learning the game. And you know what? Thomas Jones STILL found a way to rush for over 1,000 yards with Pennington and a rookie in Kellen as our starting QB's...Talk about 8 in the box last year. This year...The Jets have one of the best starting LG's in the game...Faneca. This year...The Jets have a proven veteran in Woody as the starting RT This year...The JEts have a HOF QB in Favre, one who can stretch the field, just ask the 1st play of the 2nd drive to Cotchery...Opposing D's will fear putting 8 in the box, because of those types of plays, plays that we could never dream about as Jet fans in the past. For anyone to doubt Thomas Jones this year...Thats insanse. Jones should have a monster season this year!
