    No loss for us....obviosly we didn't want him that bad........he is one year out of his prime anyway

    Damnit! This is just another example of a free agent that doesn't want to sign with us because we're a sorry excuse for an organization!!

    J/K. I just wanted to beat the darksiders to the punch. Jones is trash. We're lucky we didn't sign Tebucky.

    I heard we were looking at him a few weeks ago and I was against it. So this doesn't upset me in the least.

    No real loss here. Even though Mangini is familiar with Tebucky he's never been anything special.

    Tesucky Jones, why would we even want him. The safeties we have are younger and will be better then him in the long run. Hope he picks up where he left off before the injury.

    The only reason he wouldve been brought in, is to help teach Mangini's Defensive scheme and be a veteran presence. We are set at safety w/ Rhodes and Coleman

    We had the cap room...if Mangini was sold on him...he would be a Jet. Something convinced them that this wasnt the road to take...or "waffle".

    Better off without him.

    Jones was garbage in Miami. I had high hopes for him, but he's just not that good. The Jets lost nothing, and the Pats just wasted a roster spot.....

    You know I remember when the Pats drafted him out of Syracuse. Chris Berman said "The Patriots get lucky and draft Tebucky Jones" (which is where I stole that "Lucky" line from earlier in this thread).

    I thought it was a great pickup for them at the time. The guy just never came around though. When I heard we were interested, I was ready to bang my head against a wall.

    Anyway, here's hoping he starts for the Pats and we have many opportunities to pick on him in the future.
