As i was preparing for my yearly trip back up to hell (beantown) i was devasted when i realized that next weeks game is the early game on CBS, same time and channel as the Pats game, thus eliminating any shot of lucking out and getting the broadcast up there. While shitty online feeds may have sufficed last year, it is no way acceptable for the '08 campaign. My question to the TGG faithful is are there any good spots to watch the game up there (particularly in Brighton/Chestnut Hill). Seems like an easy enough question, HOWEVER there is one main stipulation: Currently i fall just several short months shy of the big Two-One. So in otherwords, i need more of an applebees/restaurant type place or a sportsbar that will have mercy on me and recognize that i just need a TV but not a drink in hand (although that would be nice)

I would also be interested in any Jets-friendly bars in Boston. However, my search would be more focused on the Fanieul Hall/Government Center/Financial District area. Also, being 21+ is nice. It makes the search broader.

The apartment I live in doesn't allow Satelite and, therefore, I cannot get Sunday Ticket. I also suspect that nyj55 cannot get the satelite or Sunday ticket being a college student (poor and living in a dorm).

I'd say if that's the case, your first move should be to check whether the Applebees in Cleveland Circle has Sunday Ticket.

Any type of sports bar/applebees or resturaunt like that in your area will more then likely have the Sunday Ticket. I would just go in there and ask them if they could put the Jets game on one of the TV's.

well its alot easier to find out now that i'm actually up in boston. Applebee's doesn't have sunday ticket, however Cityside right across the street in Cleveland Circle does, in case anyone else is looking for a place to watch in boston

You should buy Sunday Ticket. I think it's worth it. I can't live without it. Only thing I feel ripped off about is paying an extra 100 bucks a year for HD.
