We may have gotten luck as the reports are that Merriman is off to the MD with ligament damage & may be out for some time

Career over? Wow, that really sucks. It shows you just how fragile a career can be though.

Career over? Thats a little far, he may be IR'd worst case scenario for the Bolts.

I can see Favre with extra time to throw if that happens, but that secondary is still nasty, and got better with Cason in the backfield this year. That is no easy win. Gates would have to be out, and then you have to stop that Line and LT, Rivers to Chambers and Jackson. On the road.

Even with Merrimen gone, its still most likely a loss, but the point spread may be closer.

I think it's certainly possible the roids contributed to the injury. People on roids think they can lift an enormous amount of weights which puts a great deal of strain on the ligaments and tendons. Then they get off of the roids like Merriman has done, and the body is so stressed from trying to keep up from the pre-roid levels that it breaks down.

I'm no doctor, but it sure sounds reasonable

I hope your not in the first 11 rows. If you are you'll be staring at Jet ass the whole game. It's really a poorly designed stadium as the first 11 rows are obstructed view. My seats are upper deck but at the 15 yard line and in row 3 of the upper deck which is nice as there are only 4 rows in the Lower View.

    Thanks for the offer.

I went to the opening game of the 2006 season in SD and was just above the partial view rows...I can't believe they would even sell those.

I can it's the same reason the Jets will have PSL's. It's all about the allmighty dollar.

That's because it's a baseball stadium, Shea was the same way. One game in 1981 all I saw was the back of Chuck Ramsey all day, and he was the punter so he rarely moved.

Those are the tickets that out of towners always get and go...Yes! 5th Row!!!!! Happened to us in Oakland one year and we learned our lesson. It's really bad on that one side in Oakland. You have to watch the game on the Jumbotron to know what's going on.

From a business standpoint, I understand why they sell them. From a fan standpoint it's ridiculous.
