I think Justin Miller is on his way out...Ahman Carroll has been returning kicks and has shown great burst...Lowery will be the strting CB opposite Revis by October...Drew has been playing good this PS too...What happened to Chansi last night? Was he even playing? Oh yea Bubba Franks is gone too

Franks is surely on or close to the bubble. His ability to help favre transition into the Jets offense may help him. I also wonder to what extent Favre spoke to Franks before he signed, concerning what he thought so far of the Jets.

Uh, what? Clemens is a lock to be our second string QB.

I couldnt agree more. Stuckey is going to be our slot reciever, who we wont be seeing too much of because Dustin Keller will be running down the middle of the field catching all those bullets.

I agree Favre could be Franks ace in the hole. If the staff feels that they need him around to help with the transition to our playbook then so be it. For pure skills I have my doubts about him making the team at this point.

Since Bubba F only reach Hempstead this off season he knowledge of the P/book is probably just a little more then BF is at this point in time. I'm sure if Bubba was cut BF would nor over react the way LC has concerning Penny

He has had a couple month head start since his signing to digest the verbage used and its a valueable tool to have a guy that came off the same team last to help speed BF along who "was doing yard work ten days ago".

Not saying its a great, or even good reason to keep him, but it may be lurking out there. His play has been only so-so and by all accounts from camp and the games his hands seem to be non functional.

I think the Jets may have found a potential diamond in the rough with Kenwin Cummings.

Mike Nugent has to perform at top level if he wants to stay on this team. He's missing easy kicks and it almost seems like his head isn't right. I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets brought in a kicker sometime this week.

Agree with this. The Kid seems to have a nose for the ball. I hope he's able to stick around.

Your kidding right? This kid is a ROOKIE, missed the OTAs and playing a NEW position, there is a LEARNING CURVE there. Let's cut the kid some slack, lets put the 'BUST' tag on him AFTER he doesn't pan out after a couple seasons, but after 4 months of being a pro, he CANNOT hardly be considered a bust.

Could not agree more. I would take Feely over Nuge in a heartbeat. It would be one thing if Nugent's 23 yard miss on Saturday were a freak occurence, but it was not. He regularly misses the chip shot. That cannot be tolerated.

Bubba Franks is on the bubble. We have Baker, Keller and Posicak or whatever his name is. Franks drops to many balls

He's missed 1 FG under 30 yards in his career. That's regularly?

Drew Coleman looks better than Justin & David. They both make me so nervous when their on the field.

I beg to differ. He just played more. His extended playing time showed me that he has a lot of work before he is considered starting material.

I'd rank the CB like this:

    Revis
    Lowery
    Coleman
    Poteat
    Barrett
    Miller

I'd probably keep Miller over Barrett due to his KR ability and lower salary. But he's a bust for a starting CB. He still makes lots of mistakes & penalties. I think Dime work is all he can handle.

Well, you said regularly. If you're going to throw around something like that, spend 5 minutes to do a little research first.

I guess Nuge is the first kicker in history to miss one chip-shot FG.

I doubt the hell out of that, Nuge is a Westhoff guy and we lived and died by MW's player picks on STs. But if Nugent goes, I think Feeley wouldn't be high on the list of guys to be brought in. Parcells cut the guy because he loves to spout off through the media.
