The 71st NFL Draft on April 29-30 will be held for the first time at New York City's Radio City Music Hall, a world-renowned setting normally showcasing musicians, Santa Claus and the Rockettes, the NFL and Madison Square Garden announced

Looks the NFL stopped being mad with the Garden over the Jets West Side Stadium issue

    The Garden owns Radio City

As long as those Jet construction helmet guys aren't in the center of the camera, making the Jets look ridiculous, i'm ok with it.

Hahaha...I knew you would see this.

Bitch I have finals like 10 days after the draft...plus I am sure I will have a ton of work to do that weekend. It's 50/50 at this point.

Oh ya? What if it's Fireman Ed? They'd interview him and he'd say he hopes we draft Michael Vick...

guys pretty much anyone who actually goes to the draft and sits there for 7 hours in complete bordom is probably a bit radical in lyfestyle, thus makes us look ridiculous...pennyu if your 50/50 at this point then that means you have a 1 in 2 chance of making the rational intelligent decision of staying home and watching it on tv where you can flip the channel while bommer inventas new nicknames for the top ten picks,,,,its mind numbing to sit there all day...i made the mistake once and ill never do it again

There are a number of sports bars in the area that host "Draft Day" activities. I've never been to any draft events but I could be talked into something like that. In central Jersey (in Woodbridge, specifically), I know I remember seeing "Poor Billy's" being advertised as one of the places.

A bunch of us should get together and throw some beers down while we wait for the Jets to make their picks. Now THAT sounds like a fun afternoon!

The team sponsors these draft day parties at I believe 3 different locations each year; Jersey, Manhattan and LI. Poor Billy's shut down but I'm sure the Jets will find another central Jersey location to throw their annual bash....

I wasn't aware Poor Billy's shut down baamf, but like you say, somebody else will pick it up here in Jersey I'm sure. I came real close to going over there a couple of years ago... wish I had now, so I could report here as to what it was like. I heard there were lines outside the door in the morning just waiting to get in.

It might be a blast getting a bunch of GG'ers over there so we could make asses out of ourselves in person for a change, instead of doing it in cyber space all the time! (LOL)

Man, there is no way the Jets go 4-12 in the 07-08' season.
