I agree but it's nice to establish a baseline. I haven't heard any comments about him having pre-game jitters like a more heralded, lower round defensive draftee. He just went out and played some ball. The kid has nowhere to go but up !
shit, I didnt even know about the PR for a TD. I missed the 2nd half of the game bc of a BBQ. What a debut for him. Good pick, good return. Made some tackles. Feeling good about this pick more then the day he was drafted....and I was pretty pumped that day.
I'm most impressed with his tackeling in the game since one of his knocks was that he was an inconsistant tackler in college. I've always been on board for his bandwagon, I love ballhawking DB's and he's a ballhawk.

Yes he did look good, but he had that one bonehead interference penalty that gave the Brownies the ball at the 5 with the chance to win the game. But it was his 1st game, so hopefully he learned from his mistake. Wonder if Manny will make him run some laps on Saturday?

All the reports on him are good, and it seems like we never pick a bad player in the 4th round. Lowery could be a good one.
I hate to sound like a broken record, but it's only a preseason game. I just want to see how he does in a real game. But from all the reports of TC, and in the preseason game, I think we saw that he could be, at worst, a solid nickleback in this league, and considering our lack of depth at CB2, he may well start for us. However, I'm hoping he doesn't have to start for us at all this season.
