this dude is not a New York type of guy. If he comes out and throws 8 picks in the first 3 games, I hope this town doesn't jump all over him, although I know the media will.

I think this team is gonna be sick. If Jenkins plays well the defense will be REAL tough.

But our O-line is a lot of new guys so it might take a few games for them to get on the same page together, and Favre is also coming in real late, it might take some time to build the chemistry. I just hope people are patient.

At least those 8 picks will be 65 yard bombs

better than the classic game-ending 5 yard out picks we're used to.

There will certainly be a patience period.

We need to show what our run game can do tomorrow, even if it's a few snaps. Our run game needs to be pretty strong to take the pressure off Favre for when he's ready to step in and take over full time.

I also expect our CS to tweak the playbook a bit to meet Mr. Favre's style, so I have full confidence in Brett and our CS to meet somewhere in the middle and make a strong playoff run.

That's what I'm saying...65 yard INT can be looked at like a punt:rofl::up:

I have a feeling we will be complaining about a lack of receivers by Week 3. Hopefully Stuckey or Smith step up.

We are not building long term now, anything less than a Championship game appearance will be a failure. This FO decided to go for it and those are the expectations now and we should EXPECT to see both good and bad Brett. There will be games where he throw 2-3 INTs and costs us games, he will also win us a few games w/ his arm. In the end it will probably balance out.
