    I have two questions.

How do you know it will be one of those five teams?

How do you know we will automatically be on the road week 1?

the giants are playing a home game on that sunday nite.

it will be the jets @ titans week 1
then the jets will play tyhe bills @ home week 2
this way there is a good chance we open 2-0 which is good for the nfl and the media.

well we are assuming we will be on the road because the giants are at home vs the colts sunday night, so that pretty much makes us on the road

    Good questions to ask...

First, we are playing on the road because the Giants are at home the same day we will be playing. So that automatically puts us on the road no question about it...

Then you can narrow it down to 8 games...Here are the 8 teams we play on the road...

Buffalo, Miami, New England, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Green Bay, Minnesota and Cleveland are the 8 teams we will face on the road in 2006.

Now, we can narrow that list even more because we know that the Dolphins play the Steelers, the Jaguars play the Cowboys, and the Vikings play the Redskins all on opening weekend...

So now the list is down to the 5 I had mentioned in the poll...

Green Bay, Cleveland, Buffalo, New England, and Tennessee...

    Hope that explained

doesnt matter, they have more questions than just Favre....
    Javon Walker....
    Ahman Green is now 30...
their OLine is just as bad as ours
    their defense stinks.

The Jets played @ Green Bay in week 1 2000. @ Buffalo week 1 2002. I don't think it will be one of those teams.

I think it's going to be @ Cleveland or @ New England because of the Mangini-NE connections but I'm hoping it's Tennessee that is a more favorable matchup for the Jets.:)

The NFL sure have done themselves a good marketing job with this whole schedule business. 5 - 10 years ago we would find out the NFL schedule simply by seeing it in the sports page the day after it came out. Now it's announced across NFL.com the minute it comes out which is fine but they now have a 2 hour show on the NFL network!!! How do you spend two hours talking about a football schedule that pretty much bases prime-time match-ups according to the team's performance the previous season. A little overkill here......
