Jets wearing Titans colors vs. NE & Cincy

I agree as well.

 

I didn't hate them at the time, but as soon as we switched and immediately won the division for the first time, I never wanted to see the other ones again. Now, if they have to have throwbacks, I'd rather see those. More Jet fans can identify with the Sack Exchange era than the Titans, plus the green and white is ingrained in the Jets by now.

 

Well, I kind of like the Titans colors for a change, but never switch from Green and White. And just think, as much as people don't like the Titans uni's, they were going to do throwbacks either way, it's a marketing thing. Would any of you prefer the kelly greens?

 

I don't like throwbacks when it looks almost the same as the current unis, like when Miami has a smaller dolphin and a different shade of aqua. The 80s era uniforms would be perfect if we have to go with throwbacks. The problem there is a lot of us already have those and they want to sell the Titans shit because they need our money. Pretty soon they can sell Titans gear in their 5-star restaurant along with the surf and turf.

 

I can't stand the old colors. Kinda throws me off the whole game.

Those uniforms were so darn ugly and they weren't even real throwbacks. I was hoping those uniforms got thrown in the trash after the last game they wore them.

I also love the Titan uniforms.

 

I like the Titan uniforms, but would rather see them wear green for the home opener. I also wish they would lighten up the green on the current uniforms and make it kelly, much like the Namath-era uniforms were. Forest green belongs to Green Bay and Philadelphia, and no one wears kelly right now.

No, although I do think the uniforms are hideously ugly I moreso hate the fact that we are now wearing uniforms that have no historical meaning to the Jets for one reason and one reason only, to make more money.

 

I'm with you there. For most of my life one of the only things to like about the Jets that you could count on was the green and white, it sucks when they don't wear it.

 

It was a good idea to do it once, but this is clearly too much. If they like the uniforms so damn much they should just change their name back to the Titans.
