    1st ROUND

    4. Chicago Bears ?Matt Stafford QB Georgia

    11. Arizona Cardinals ? Knowshon Moreno RB Georgia

    12. Tennessee Titans ? De?Marcus Granger DT Oklahoma

    13. New York Jets ? Rey Maualuga ILB USC
ILB isn?t the biggest need as I think our defense will improve, top 12 im thinking. But to make a 3-4 defense great you need plenty of linebackers. Eric Barton will be 31 by September and even though he has been solid throughout his tenure with the Jets the youth movement needs to continue. Maualuga is a perfect fit for a 3-4, can play run and blitz, just like Harris probably even better.

RB is another option as well as Ohio State?s James Laurinaitis but you can all ways find a RB later. As for Laurinaitis I think he will be a great ILB and think he is even a better prospect then AJ Hawk was but Reys style of play fits the 3-4 too well.

    14. Denver Broncos ? James Laurinaitis ILB Ohio State

    15. Buffalo Bills ? Greg Hardy DE Ole Miss

    16. Tampa Bay Buccaneers ? Eugene Monroe T Virginia

    17. Washington Redskins ? Taylor Mays SS USC

    22. New Orleans Saints ? Brian Cushing OLB USC

    23. Green Bay Packers ? Kam Chancellor SS Va. Tech

    24. Cleveland Browns ? LeSean McCoy RB Pittsburgh

    25. Pittsburgh Steelers ?Alex Mack C Cal

    26. Minnesota Vikings - Jermaine Gresham TE Oklahoma

    27. New York Giants ?Gerald McCath OLB Southern Miss

    28. New England Patriots ? D.J. Moore CB Vanderbilt

    29. Indianapolis Colts ? Darrius Heyward-Bey WR Maryland

    30. San Diego Chargers ? Max Unger OT Oregon

    31. Jacksonville Jaguars ? Fili Moala DT USC

    32. Dallas Cowboys ? Percy Harvin WR Florida

    2nd ROUND
    1. Atlanta Falcons ? Sen?Darick Marks DT Auburn

    2. Miami Dolphins ? Victor Harris CB Va. Tech

    3. Kansas City Chiefs ? Greg Middleton DE Indiana

    4. Chicago Bears ? Phil Loadhoat OT/OG Oklahoma

    7. Cincinnati Bengals ? Brandon Spikes ILB Florida

    8. Detroit Lions ? Darry Beckwith ILB LSU

    9. Oakland Raiders ? Alex Boone OT Ohio State

    10. Baltimore Ravens ? Brian Orakpo OLB Texas

    11. Arizona Cardinals ? Herman Johnson G LSU

    12. Tennessee Titans ? Vidal Hazelton WR USC

    13. New York Jets ? Derek Pegues FS Mississippi State
Abram Elam, Eric Smith, I mean seriously. In a deep safety class Pegues stands out as the most versatile, legitimately being able to play corner and also can return kicks. A prospect that doesn?t get a lot of love as of right now but during draft time you will definitely be hearing a lot from him.

    14. Denver Broncos ? Patrick Chung SS Oregon

    15. Buffalo Bills ? Brandon Pettigrew TE Oklahoma State

    16. Tampa Bay Buccaneers ? Brian Robiskie WR Ohio State

    17. Washington Redskins ? Tyson Jackson DE LSU

    18. Carolina Panthers ? Vince Oghobaase DT Duke

    19. Houston Texans ? Maurice Evans DE Penn State

    20. Philadelphia Eagles ? Mike Mickens CB Cincinnati

    21. Seattle Seahawks ? Derrick Williams WR Penn State

    22. New York Jets (via NO) ?Keiland Williams RB LSU
I think that Thomas Jones will probably rush for about 1300 yards, Washington 500+ I actually think our ground game will be the best its been since Curtis Martin left saying that we still need a runner that opposing defenses have to really worry about. Williams will be a great fit , he is a big back who could compliment Washington but also has breakaway ability. Looks a lot like Rashard Mendenhall build wise and runs similarly to him as well.

    23. Green Bay Packers ? Andrew Gardner OT Georgia Tech

    24. Cleveland Browns ? Alphonso Smith CB Wake Forest

    25. Pittsburgh Steelers - Courtney Greene FS Rutgers

    26. Minnesota Vikings ? Cullen Harper QB Clemson

    27. New York Giants ? Josh Pinkard FS USC

    2. Miami Dolphins ? Greg Carr WR Florida State

    3. Kansas City Chiefs ? Aaron Kelly WR Clemson

    4. Chicago Bears ? Brandon Gibson WR Washington State

    5. San Francisco 49ers ? Daniel Holtzckaw ILB Eastern Michigan

    6. St. Louis Rams ? Emmanuel Cook S S.Carolina

    7. Cincinnati Bengals ? Peria Jerry DT Ole Miss

    8. Detroit Lions ? Al Woods DT LSU

    9. Oakland Raiders ?Tim Jamison DE Michigan

    10. Baltimore Ravens ? Demetrius Byrd WR LSU

    11. Arizona Cardinals ? Antwain Robinson OLB Arkansas

    12. Tennessee Titans ?David Philistin ILB Mayland

    13. New York Jets ? Mark Parson CB Ohio
I love Miller but until he proves that he can be a full time starter we will need one. Lowery is alright but ultimately his best position in this league is probably safety. Parson is not getting a lot of pub now but watching film on him he is definitely one of the best if not the best man-to man corner in 09?s draft. Im really high on him and might even move into the first if he has a great combine.

    14. Denver Broncos ? Marcus Freeman OLB Ohio State

    15. Buffalo Bills ? Jonathan Luigs C Arkansas

    16. Tampa Bay Buccaneers ? Joe Burnett CB Central Florida

    17. Washington Redskins ? Jeff Owens DT Georgia

    pretty cool mock.
I think Stafford will be the first QB taken.
    And...
A.J. Hawk is a better preospect than James Laurinaitis.

    Hm...:

No offense to Rey, but I'd take Greg Hardy over him any day. Hardy is just too sick a prospect.

I still really like that DT from Duke whose name I refuse to spell out. I keep hearing alot of good things, and he sounds like a guy in the Seymour, Haynesworth, Henderson mold. Really big, really strong, and still extremely athletic even by NFL standards.

Orakpo and Hardy = the Ware and Merriman of this class. Thats crazy because you gotta do alot to get that label considering guys like Selvie and maybe Evans will be in this draft.

Xavier Fulton will not last 'til the 3rd round. Someone will bite on his potential.

This is just going by your mock...alot of these guys would have to come out early in real life.

I see you're not really a big fan of next year's QBs Nesquik. I think you could see the top 3 Sr's (Harper, Painter, Cantwell) all go by the middle of Rd 2, and by the end of Rd 2 if both Stafford and Bradford go early.

Also, I love the Derek Pegues pick in Rd 2, but my thoughts are that he will be one of if not the top safety in the class next year when it's all said and done (OK, maybe 2nd, Mays is just sick). I remember I first saw him in the HS Army AA Game and he was a beast, his physicality and speed will make him a top 20 guy despite not having great safety size (Whitner-like, though not as high obviously). The kid is a stud.

Nice to hear from some of my draftnik friends, it's a slooooow time of year, but we have alot of great players to look forward to this college season.

A few comments...........Not being a Buckeye Homer, cause I'm not (You guys know my feelings on VG :(). I know its all about need in the Top 5, but I believe Laurinaitis will be a top 5 player. Robiskie is a special player and I can't see him falling into Mid Rd 2, I know he's not a burner, but is IMO, one of the best in 2009's class, late Rd 1 is my guess.

I love Vontae Davis and IMO, he has better potential than Jenkins. Davis was the best CB in the Big ten last year.If the Jet's screw up again this year and have a top 10 pick...... Davis would be my choice next to Revis.

Xavier Fulton, OT has all the tools to fall into Rd 1...........I like what I've seen, he's still a work in progress, but is on track for a big year.

    Loadhoat...............what a waste of talent.......will fall to rd 3.

A player to watch is Scott McKillop , Pitt............he was a tacking machine last year, very underated.

FWIW, RD 1 is going to be very strong in 2009, especially the top 15 players. In 2008 there was a drop off after the first 5/6 players, not in 2009......a solid top 15 will be available.

I still dont know who is better Jenkins or Davis. Some people say Jenkins is the best corner prospect that is going to come out since Champ Bailey.I even read somewhere where they compare him to Deion Sanders.I dont think he is that good but i do think he would have been in the top 3 corners to be chosen if he came out this year. He does remind of Antrel Rolle whether thats a good thing or not idk.But the fact that he's a big physical corner is a plus.

Regarding Davis honestly i dont know much about him as id like too, only that he definetly has the genes being Vernon Davis's liitle brother. Vontae runs a legitimate 4.3 and also has good size 6'0 204.Davis and Mendenhall where the only 2 players that looked liked they belong when playing agianst USC in the Rose Bowl.
If i had to choose id have to go with Jenkins i dont if he be a great corner but im pretty sure he will either a very good corner or free safety

Idk about that William Moore ia a beast in his own right and Myron Rolle might come out even though it would be smart for him not 2.Right now im just hoping Peagues fall cause he would be a great fit as our fs.

Vontae Davis is phenomenal, even if he doesn't go into the offseason next year as the top corner, he's going to blister his 40 yder and other workouts. If there was anyone I'd compare his game to, probably Pacman Jones with the way he can close. Just incredible.

Hell, did anyone see him catch Joe McKnight last year in the open field?
