Bad start by Santana so far.

That is saying alot considering Beltran, Pedro and about everybody else outside of Reyes have been disapointing.

You expected something out of Pedro this year? Really? Beltran has been coming on lately he's about where you'd expect him to be.

Point is Santana has been about as good as Oliver Perez was last year when he's supposed to be the best pitcher in the league. I'd say that's pretty disappointing.

Apparently, the Mets' bats were lost during the flight back. There's an APB out for them somewhere in the skies over St. Louis. Airline said they would be delivered "sometime this week."

No but I expected him to be better than the pinata he has been in his last 2 starts and honestly Beltran has not been were I expected a hundred million dollar player to be.

Wish the Mets would have capitalized on that injury.

Yeah it sucks to see, but he was dealin and it gave the Mets a second life in this game..

    Haven't seen it yet, though.

and Wright is pretty damn dissapointing, up there with Johan. I don't care if hes raking lefties, we face righties more and hes in there #3 everynight..

.225 vs righties is downright disgusting..

Delgado up as the tying run. A Mets comeback here would be quite amazing.

Easley misses the two hittable pitches, and then looks at strike 3.

Very disappointing start to the homestand.

The Mets' Ace gives up a grand slam to an AL pitcher, while the Mets make Arthur Rhodes look like Mariano Rivera.

    Typical.

There is no shame in losing to the Mariners. I betcha the Mets will win tomorrow. I hope there is vBookie action on tomorrow night's game. I will wager at least 42 vCash units.
