Seriously..The Oakland Raiders are and have been the ass clowns of the NFL for like the last 4 years..The owner has the beginning signs of dementia and there Head Coach is like 19 years old..They have Rob Ryan..thats it..Jamassive Russell is like 300 lbs..back away from the buffet table big boy...AND will get turned into the big nose guard their lookin for..Oakland Raiders!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
The BEGINNING signs of dementia? Al Davis has been about as far gone as one can imagine for the last 12 years or so.
i really think he is safe for another couple of years. he could have the same record as last season and it would'nt matter. sorry rjeaux, don't give a sh-t about the raiders, no questions here.
I don't know how the owner and the fans could tolerate another 4-12 season. Maybe this attitude is why the Jets are one of the losingest NFL franchises?
I love how the Thread Tittle is full of incorrect grammar and references the extreme past tense. The tittle works if it read "Jets record in 1995 that cost Kotite his job."- See how stupid you sound Jeaux?? Contract is guaranteed through 2009... ugh
Why should Mangini get a mulligan for 4 wins, even if there are considerable injuries? The team won 4 games last year with ZERO significant injuries. Two seasons in a row with fewer than 5 wins is grounds for dismissal no matter the circumstances....
if he goes 5 and 11 but the team makes strides ill keep him. We really are still a year away from being serious contendors
1 as long as he doesn't lose every game he should be all right for 09.i think w.j. understands that you can't have a quick hook with a head coch.just look at the steelers there on there third coach ever it seems like and they are very successful.woody gets that al davis never will.thats why the faiders will be a joke until he's gone.
how did that afl championship game in 68 feel? also its been 5 tough years for you, i dont think we ever had a 5 year run like that
You are correct. The Jets have not had a 5-year run as bad as this Raiders run. Teams that have had 5 straight seasons of double digit losses- Raiders 2003-07 Bills 1967-71 Bengals 1998-2002 Broncos 1963-67 Patriots 1989-93 Cardinals 2002-06 Lions 2001-06 (SIX straight years) Rams 1990-94 (would have been nine straight years, but they "only" lost 9 games in 1995) Buccaneers 1983-1994 (12 straight years) The Oilers likely would be on this list if not for the 1982 strike-shortened season. They went 1-8 that year. They then proceeded to go 2-14, 3-13, 5-11, and 5-11.
