Pennington, for coming back from 2 career-ending type injuries in the same, throwing shoulder (On par with a WR or CB having two torn ACLs in the same knee and making a near-full recovery, very much against all odds.) But I also want to throw Mangold's name out here. On the couple of times he has been injured in a game (never out for more than 1 play, thank god) I would see him on the turf and just get this sinking feeling like the whole house just came crashing down. No matter who is behind center, the center is the leader of the most important unit on the field. And we didn't even have a real backup plan. I think he'll be around for at least another 15 years at that spot, never hearing his name called, doing a damn fine job no matter who is standing behind or beside him. Here's to you, Nick
Mmm, Kerry Rhodes... Oh, I'm sorry - that's besides the point. I have Leon Washington as my wallpaper on my cell. The pickins' were slim, so I went with that. I do love Leon, though.
The resemblance is uncanny. You can't fault the guy for being ugly. The depressing part is that he makes half a million dollars a year to toss the ball between his legs about 100 times a year.
Haha. It's really hard not to like Chad, even if he isn't the best fit anymore. He really gave it all to us and with class. If only 2002 was the trend and not the exception. My favorite is Rhodes. 4th rounder, elite, underappreciated by everyone besides the Jets and Bill Bellichek. I got a feeling though that Faneca is going to create a good number of smiles next year.
