Alright now that this highy hyped day has come, take a look at the resulats and let's see what impresses you the most. It sounds like USC really did a great job of making the day organized and took care of the scouts well. Carroll also individually praised each player that was working out, showing alot of class

If you haven't already looked, here's the link.

William Buchanon-> WR, a guy I hadn't heard of much, he is 6'3 and ran a 4.38 twice. That will open alot of eyes and it should open our too.

Reggie Bush ---> of course everyone knows he is amazing and he proved it again today. He ran a 4.33 and had a 40.5 inch vert, measured 5'11, 202 lbs. Damn I really wish we could get him, I can't wait to see him in the NFL. Lucky Texans, well sort of, they really did suck last year....

Winston Justice ---> OT, 6'6, 320 and did 38 lifts. That's great size for a tackle and really good strength, Larry Allen is the strongest in the NFL and he did 43 at the challenge this year. This guy's no D'Brick but those numbers are impressive. This is a guy we could actually get, too.

Leinart didn't do much today but we all know how good he is.

Fred Matua ---> OG, weights 301 and ran just over 5 secs today, the site says he'll shoot up the boards due to his performance today. Other than this I knew little about the guy. We do need a guard though so maybe he's drawn attention from the Jets.

Frostee Rucker ---> DE, has a cool name. He's 6'3, 261 lb and ran 40s in 4.8 and 4.81.....pretty good for a guy his size, no info on lifts.

The biggest standouts here for me were Buchanon and Justice. I did not know much about him and his speed is impressive. He is also tall, I would not mind him in NY. 4.38 is definitely faster than Justin and Jerricho, if he can catch he'll be good. Winston Justice seems to be a real monster. I also think he will be a possibility for us because its no secret that were are looking for O-linemen.

eh, if a 4.8 is good for a 261 guy then what is a 4.7 for a 295 guy (Super Mario)? Best ever? Nah but I wouldn't mind Rucker if he's available at our 3rd round compensation pick, which is probably doubtful...

Trade down with the first pick and take Justice and trade up with the 2nd pick to get White? I'd be up for that.

Bush is 5'11", 202? That's good. I was worried he'd be like 6'0", 180. 5'11" 202 takes care of some of the size issues.

Other sources are reporting that Bush ran more in the range of 4.45 or so. Not nearly as impressive as most people expected.

White might be sitting there when we pick in the 2nd if he doesn't get his act together real quick.

Meh. Buchanon's straight line speed means nothing. If he was really anything to look at, he would've gotten some more plays to give Smith a breather and he didn't. Think big Jonathan Carter.

justice will never be in a jets uni if mangini has a say, this guy has got himself into way to many legal problems already, and thats a knock everyone, not just a belicheck type of guy, has on him

again yes, bush's workout was only average considering what he's "supposed" to be, but i believed months ago he shouldn't be the 1st pick in this draft, and I still hold that belief now (ferguson and williams IMO should battle it out for one, with young and leinart right behind)

first bush is a RB..which isn't hard to find a serviceable one, especially if you have a good line, and is smaller than believed he'd be, has his own play issues (his blitz pickup is non-existant among aother things), and has for where he'll be drafted, almost as high a chance as Young to be a gigantic bust (hell, young might be a more sure thing considering the position than bush for where they'll go in the draft)

i dont hate him, he's just not Jesus at running back like the media and casual fans portray him to be

there isn't a ton on him, as he hasn't played a ton or had a lot of balls thrown his way, which to be fair is expected considering jarrett (and the fact for good reason he was leinarts favorite target), and the other offensive options (smith is a better #2 than him..though smith had issues this year, byrd, bush, etc)

While it's hard to get playing time in that offense, he wasn't given playing time, because he wasn't good enough.

Buchanon used to be a cornerback at SC, was moved to WR to get him on the field, little did they know how quickly theior young players would step into dominating roles. He's an intriguing late round pick because of physical ability, nothing more.

Oh, and thank god for the three USC pro day threads, because one isn't enough for obvious reasons.

Justice would be a good pick, if the FO wants to go oline with their 1st pick I'd rather trade down and take him over dbrick at #4.

yeah, id much rather draft a guy who pulled a pellet gun on a fellow student and a guy who also solicited a hooker who's also probably the most raw 1st round tackle who managed to struggle quite a bit last season..(personally he probably should've stayed in school for his senior year...)

Reggie Bush is really 4' 8" and weights 89 pound fully dressed in pads. This info comes STRAIGHT from someone who went to high school with a guy who dated a girl who's brother saw the coache's son standing next to another guy. This HAS to be good info.

Who cares about that petty shit. As long as he's not gettin DUIs or putting anyone else's life in danger. He solicited a hooker...big freakin deal...Kobe Bryant goes around raping white girls, Wilt Chamberlain had how many chicks?..and theres about a million more stories about great athletes. As long as this guy stays strong and knows how to protect our QB he can have all the illegal pussy he can choke down

    i vote for this guy:

"Punter Tom Malone (5-11¾, 204) participated only in the bench press and finished with 14 reps." (from espn insider)

14 reps not bad for a punter. as many as Lendale White?? =)
