Which late round pick or UFA not only makes the team but has the biggest impact this season ? Is there another Chrebet out there waiting to prove himself ?
I like that Ja-OOH fullback, Brandon Jacobs clone to maybe punch in a few, it would also be nice if that 6th round WR can beat out Brad Smith for the slot
I really think that whoever signs Eric Young out of Tennessee will get a future starting guard. I also think that Jamie Silva will be a contributer. He knows how to play the game. or are you just talking about Jets players? If that is the case than I go with Garner. Hopefully Callahan gives him some good points.
Well Danny Woodhead has easily become the fan favorite for this vote. However a late-r round guy I see contributing for us right away is Dwight Lowery. seeing as how he was drafted in the 4th, that might not be the answer your looking for. Going even later, I don't see a single guy making any real impact this season, unless Woodhead makes the roster as our return specialist, in which case he would make the biggest impact, either good or bad....
Woodhead has no shot to make this team unless he can win the punt returner job. There is always one UDFA that gives Jets fans dreams of another Wayne Chrebet story. Unfortunately the odds of getting another Wayne Chrebet are pretty slim. We have no one that is a slam dunk choice to return punts though so if he can do that job then maybe, otherwise training camp fodder. The late round pick I think can make the biggest impact this year is Marcus Henry. He has the talent and potential to win the #3 job straight out of camp, plus we have noone to fill that spot that has proven they could do the job, that helps for him. I also think Lowery will play a big role on D, I dont know if 4th round pick is really a cinderrella story though.
Our 7th round tackle could prove to be a reliable backup. Not exactly a cinderella story, but could definitely make the team.
