They should have kept Kowaleski to at least pressure Keller into producing.

Yeah I'm surprised they didn't keep Kowalewski.

i heard Tannebaum on 1050 today. I can't quote him, but it really sounded like they're going to keep Baker on the team at his current salary. The dude has absolutely no leverage.

So do we keep Pociask on the roster? I can't see us keeping both Pociask and Franks, but then again Franks and Baker are not that different either.

I would hope that some scrub FA with one TD to his credit wouldn't be the one to prod our 1st round star into taking his game to the next level.

I like how Tannenbaum used Stacy Tutt as a direct example of an Undrafted Free Agent signed by the Jets in his post-draft press conference...Tanny pledged to the pool of Free Agents still available, that the NY Jets can be the "land of opportunity", just like it was for guys like Tutt and Kowalewski....

and then Tutt gets cut the next day....Well executed.

That sucks. Why not after training camp? I don't get it. Kowalewski not Tutt, that is.

Why Kowalewski? The kid played an awful lot for us, and he was the closest thing we had to a blocking FB/H-back. Pociask never played, and has thus far done nothing to produce, or get on the field. However, they drafted Pociask, but not Kowalewski, that is the only reason I can see for cutting Kowalewski now before TC is and keeping Pociask...

Maybe the Jets' were looking out for Kowalewski, since he wasn't gonna make the team, they cut him early so that he can latch on to another team ?

even before then...what kind of leverage did he have? he wasn't even close to being as important as kendall.

With our additions, these two became expendeble.Tutt, definately had to go, I like Kowalewski though.I think Pociask and Chatham should have gone though. With the addition of the big FB from Michigan State, I don't see how Tutt stays on this team, same for Pociask.
