I doubt it. We will most definately use 2 TE sets. but now that we have a FB we will have Richardson on the field in base sets. One of the TE's will be in there, either Keller or Baker, but not likely both on the majority of sets...
Look for us to run 3 different kinds of base(non goaline/shotgun) type offenses. 1. Standard QB HB- Jones FB- Richardson WR- Cotch WR- Coles TE- Baker T- Brick G- Faneca C- Mangold G - Moore T- Woody 2. Dual TE QB Jones 2 starting WR's TE1- Baker TE2- Keller or Franks Standard front 5 3. Motioning H back set QB Jones H-back- Keller 2 standard WR's TE- Baker Standard front 5
I think that we're going to see a bewildering bunch of different RB sets this season, as the NYJs develop a lot of ways to punish the defense with our newly dominating line and our varied and vicious running attack. Can you imagine either one of two guys under 5'8" suddenly darting through 6-7 linemen out of "nowhere"? Nobody will able to find Washington or Whitehead until it's too late and they're gone.
Now that sounds very appealing to me, both washington and Woodhead have the speed to go the distance on any play so it wouldn't shock me to see a few awfully long TD runs from these two this year...
