Half way through the 5th round, Schuening is still available. And he would have been a value pick in the 4th round? The problem with our depth is the roster is littered with late-round/UDFA O-linemen. So the remedy for that is to draft more late-round O-linemen? As if they're going to be miles better than what we already have? If there is any argument against the FO for not addressing the line, it's in the earlier rounds. Get on them for not trading down in round 1 and getting one of the top 3-4 guys there. Maybe they haven't picked up a DT yet because they really are confident in Pouha? They did extend his contract this offseason.

I'm a little annoyed by the fact that DL and OL are being ignored right now.

Maybe we like Rubin with our fif round pick.

Is it just me, or are there others on this board that see you inputs as essentially = ZERO VALUE ADDED. Never one positive comment, and all your negative feedback is really backed up by facts. Our FO is doing better personnel wise that probably 70% of the league. We basically started 2 years ago with veryclose to ground zero. We have now a nucleous of solid starters and continuing to improve. It is time for you to lighten up.

The saddest part of all this is that if we win the first game of the season you'll start dickriding.

I'm not completely against the Ainge pick, but the fact that the FO seems to be neglecting both lines is pretty concerining, especially when good players like Dre Moore and Roy Schuening have been available with out selections. Hopefully we can grab someone in the 6th.

I have my fingers crossed for a G or T at the 171 spot. If not, regardless of how the picks pan out, I'm going to consider this draft a big disappointment....

  10. I have no doubt we'll take a DB at one or both of the spots. After all..Bradway doesnt put draft grades on O-linemen

    Ugh... A WR.....

What are the chances that NOBODY on the OL goes down all next season?

The sky is not falling dude.

Even ignoring the fact that the draft isn't don't yet...theres still UFDAs and training camp cuts for O-line.

I'm more pissed about D-line...as Rubin is still there, and we passed on everyone else.

    Dear Kurt,

Please consider this my Official Application to the REALLY PISSED OFF THAT WE ARE IGNORING THE OL Club.

Hard to believe our biggest weakness has gone completely unaddressed through 6!

I'm not sure if "Ugh" equates to me panicking....

But the problem I have is that right now we have really NO offensive line depth. At this point anyone we bring in in the draft would be lucky to see the field in year 1. If one of our starters goes down in 2008, we're in deep shit

That doesn't change the fact that our OL depth sucks, and we're going to be in the same position we were last season the second someone goes down..

You people realized we signed Damien Woody and Alan Faneca this offseason right?

Its not like we did absolutely nothing with the O-Line...

As if we had a lot of experience picking up capable UFDAs and TC cuts for the OL. We did that the last two years. Who do we got that can play? How well did Adrien Clarke turn out last year? Did Bender play one down? The DL only has three starters with at least two capable backups. The OL has five starters and zero capable backups. Somebody tell that to whoever is deciding not to pick OL. We all saw what happened last year when Kendall quit.

Rubin is free-falling. He must have pissed some teams off. I remember people here saying he'd be a 2nd rounder.
