Just a Few Key Pieces Still Needed....

    The key pieces that are still needed are DE/DT, another NT, a RT/OL & maybe a WR that can stretch the field & maybe a CB (Zenon...L.S.U.) as a nickel back.

    How they can get all those pieces with...I leave that to Tangini. :wink:

    i think were all set. we don't need any more players. we should trade the rest of our draft for next year pics, or just give them away to teams like miami or atlanta.

    pouah is good enough to back-up/spell jenkins, so we really don't 'need' another NT in the draft.

    keller is the pass catching threat you hope for when you added WR to the list, so you can cross that off.

    bender is now in year number 2 and playing with a MUCH better o-line, which means he will actually get to see some playing time this year. look for bender to develop nicely throught the season. maybe even dress for a few games.

    as far as DE/DL help, can never too much, but gholsten can play with his hand on the ground as a DE in a 4-3 or play strong side OLB standing up in the 3-4. Look for the jets to play 20-40% of their defense as a standard 4-3 with gholsten as the DE.
